For sure, all of us had already experienced completing a teacher's evaluation at the end
of each semester right?
Most of the time, for
sure, we tend to think na wala lang ang mga ‘yon, sometimes pa nga we don’t really take
them seriously. But did you know they are actually really important? That’s actually an
example of performance evaluation na very important sa isang organization.
In today’s discussion, we will be tackling the different ways to evaluate performance.
dapat i-fulfill, regardless of their position. That’s why it is important to evaluate their
performance to check if nafufulfill ba nila nang tama ang mga duties nila. For example
in sales department, we can evaluate their performance through checking how satisfied
customers are or by checking if na-hit ba nila ang target sales.
While it is important to assess their performance individually, we also have to
understand how they work together as a team and how it affects overall performance.
Alignment of Managerial and Organizational Interests
decision making. And syempre in order for them to make better decisions, it is
important of course na mayroon silang clear, complete, and relevant information.
management is how they will save money and increase profitability. In order for them to
do that, hindi pwedeng wala silang clear, complete, and relevant information. Hindi
pwedeng wala silang basis at basta nalang magdedesisyon. Halimbawa ng mga
information na ‘to ay yung mga material cost and labor cost. Using these, they can
check what if may cheaper but same quality materials pala that can be substituted para
If wala sila
ng mga information katulad nito, it will be challenging to accurately assess the
company’s expenses and make informed decisions.
Since sila ang gumagawa ng mga major and critical decisions for the organization,
When the
manager and the company both want the same things, everyone works more efficiently
and gets more done.
and prioritize what's best for the company.
For example, sa isang sales manager.
bonus based on the total sales revenue na magegenerate ng team niyo. Because of this,
you might be tempted na i-prioritize yung mga deals na makakapagbigay sayo ng
immediate payouts kesa sa mga long-term clients. In this example, mas pinrioritize ni
manager yung personal interest niya kesa sa interest and goal ng company. As a result,
pwedeng maaffect ang profitability and overall performance ng organization. That is
why it important na align ang interest ng managers and organization.
By doing this, you're not only helping the company achieve its objectives but also
enhancing your own reputation as a trustworthy and reliable manager.
Decentralized Organization
As what have been mentioned kanina, every member sa isang organization ay may
duties na dapat i-fulfill even yung mga nasa lower position. This also means na hindi
Decentralization means giving the
power to make decisions to people lower down in the organization. So, instead na puro
mga nasa top management lang ang gumagawa ng lahat the decisions, they let other
people decide things too.
For example sa isang retail company like mga grocery stores, hindi naman day to day
mamamanage yan ng mga top managers. That is why they are also giving authority to
store managers (the agents) to make decisions about things like inventory
