“Before we proceed to our next lesson,
let's have a short review about our
lesson last week.”

“So, last week we studied about adverb
of time.”
“What is adverb of time?”
“Adverb of time tell us when an action
happened.”

“Can you give me an example?”
“I saw Claire yesterday.”
“What is the adverb of time?”
“Yesterday”

“Another Example?” “We will have a picnic tomorrow.”

2. Motivation “Now, to start with our new lesson. Do
you know the game 4 pics 1 word?”
“Yes ma’am!”
“Okay we are going to play this game!
Class will be divided in to four; each
group will be given an illustration board
and pen. Choose your group leader and
each leader will be the one who will
write and raise their answers.

“Good! Our mechanics for this game is
the group who raise first will be given 2
points and the group who raise with the
correct answer will be given 1 point.
One point to those who raise correct
answer only and no points to raise with
wrong answers. Understand?"

the Lesson
1. Presentation Group Activity
of the lesson
“Please remain with your group because
we will have another activity. Each
group will have a writer and a leader to
present your work in front after the
activity. Each group will make a
sentence using the word you guessed
earlier and you will write your answer
on the cartolina. Understood?”
Example: “Yes ma’am”
I left my book at school.
“Where did I left my book?”
“I used the word school to complete the
sentence.” School.
“The first group will form the word
church in a sentence, the second group
will be the park, the third group will be
the hospital and the fourth group will be

“Now you can also describe the location
of different organisms within their
habitat using their adverbs of place. For
example.”
1. Snakes hide under rocks during the
day.
Question:
“Where the snake is hiding during the
day?”

2. Polar bears hunt for seals on the icy
Arctic Sea.
“Where the Polar bears hunt for seal?”
“On the icy Arctic Sea.”
3. “Otters play in the water.”

Animal Kingdom:
“Now I will divide you into 4 groups
and each group will be given drawing
material. Choose your group leader to
present your work in front. Am I clear
children?”
“Draw an animal that you think are
interesting. Create a sentence using
adverbs of place to tell where they live.
Am I clear?”
Example:
Some turtle lay their eggs in moist soils
in the forest.
Since you are all done with the activity,
let ma ask you about how you feel about
the activiy?
“Feeling great ma’am!”
Wow! You feel great because you were
able to do your group activity. Give
