CONSEJOS Y RECOMENDACIONES

1. Make a general reading: We do not advise you that the first reading is thorough
and slow. It is better that you make a quick sweep not only of the text but also of the questions that
are posed to you so that in the next readings you influence to understand precisely what they are
asking you.

2. You don't have to understand each word. Don't get frustrated if you don't
understand absolutely everything. There is vocabulary that will be unknown to you, even entire
structures! But this is not going to prevent you from understanding the meaning of the text at all.

3. Stop and think. When you finish reading the text a second time, stop to think for
5 seconds if you have understood what is exposed. What is the meaning of the text? Is it a journalistic
text, a letter, an opinion? What reflection can I draw? What does the author mean by expounding
these ideas?

4. Read between the lines. You should realize that this text has been chosen
specifically for your test. It is appropriate to your level and is surely related to some themethat you
have seen during the course. Be bold and think if it is related to any semantic fieldthat you know in
English and take out your weapons in the form of vocabulary!

5. Be concise with your answers. Once we start writing, we must keep in mind that
it is not a writing. Therefore, the answers must be brief, clear and concise. Do not roll up like a blind,
look for the most effective way to make yourself understood.

6. Enjoy reading. This is the best advice we can give you. Do not get nervous, enjoy
reading this text as if you were quietly reading in the library or at home a book you like. Beinterested
in what he says and understand it. If you follow this advice, your answers will surely reflect your good
intentions.
