Task 1
Stark Industries has made a name for itself in the area of assistive tech. It has developed a
one-of-its-kind smart prosthetic limb that attaches itself seamlessly to the body with the help
of nano-tech.
The flagship product has a 30 part BOM. Now, since it involves a lot of parts, here is the BOM
of one particular PCB.

The production capacity of the plant in Bangalore is 2000 units a month and every month it
is essential that these 2000 units are shipped out to our customers in San Francisco and
Chicago in the US (500 units), London in the UK (500 units), Johannesburg in South Africa
(500 units) and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia (100 units). We also need to ship these units to
multiple locations in India as well (100 each in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai)
Given the sourcing plan, devise a framework to manage inbound logistics for this particular
PCB. Give your answer with respect to the following points.
● Vendor selection and evaluation (for the purpose of freight forwarding)
● Transportation modes and routes suitable for bulk shipments.
● Relevant documentation required for cross-border shipments.
● How do you intend to track all logistics related data and centralize it?
● What are the key metrics that you will track to ensure efficient logistics operations
Similarly, devise a framework for outbound shipments for the product to the geographies
mentioned above.
