18th-level Aboleth Spawn feature
The might of your monstrous heritage twists you in
various ways. You become visibly alien-like in the
manner you choose (large bulbous eyes, slime-covered
skin, etc.) Your type changes to aberration, and you are
no longer affected by spells that target humanoids.
Once per day, you attempt to charm a creature you can
see within 30 feet. The target must succeed on a
Wisdom saving throw against your sorcerer spell save
DC or be charmed by you until you are knocked
unconscious or until it is on a different plane of
existence.
The charmed target is under your control and can’t take
reactions, and you and the target can communicate
telepathically with each other over any distance. The
target can repeat the saving throw whenever the
charmed target takes damage. On a success, the effect
ends.
A target is under your control for 24 hours, after which
it is free of your grasp. To maintain control of the target
for another 24 hours, you must spend sorcery points
equal to the target’s challenge rating. Additionally, once
every 24 hours, the target can repeat the saving throw to
escape when it is at least 1 mile away from you.
