Brigada Eskwela 2024 started July 22, 2024 and ended last July 26,
2024. People who attended the gathering including our stakeholders, teachers
and volunteers proceeded to their designated place to clean. Students,
teachers, and volunteers engaged in this activity harmoniously and very much
like the beloved Filipino spirit of ‘Bayanihan’. Anchored on the theme
“Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan,” encourage parents, teachers,
students, and local communities to come together to clean, repair, and beautify
schools. The atmosphere of banding together and working hand in hand for the
school was very much apparent in South I-A Central School.
The goal was to ensure that every public school starts the academic year
with a well-maintained and conducive learning environment.

conduct of activities for Academic Year 2024-2025 today, July 29, 2024., here’s

Classes in public schools will resume nationwide today, July 29, 2024 that
ensures peaceful and orderly opening of classes. Students were properly
enrolled per year level.
A good relationship between students and teachers is good and can improve
discipline among learners. The school rules have been established in South 1-A
Central School it reflects school community’s expectations in terms of
acceptable standards of behavior, dress and personal presentation in the
widest sense. In-person learning will remain the primary learning delivery
modality (LDM) "given its crucial role in enabling in-depth and real-time
teacher and learner interaction"

Anchor 1: Headline…… DepEd eyes forming PISA Task Force to improve
learners' test scores, here’s Abdul Wajid for the report.
-REPORT-
The Department of Education (DepEd) on Wednesday disclosed plans to
form a Task Force on the Programme for International Student Assessment
(PISA) to improve learners' performance on both local and international tests.
This, after President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. underscored the need to
produce learners who are "critical thinkers and problem solvers" during his
third State of the Nation Address (SONA).
For the 2022 PISA, the Philippines landed in the bottom 10 out of 81
participating countries in areas of reading comprehension, mathematics, and
science; and second to the last in creative thinking.
Besides the Task Force on PISA, Angara underscored short- and long-
term strategies to tweak the pedagogy or the way of teaching in public schools.

Typhoon Carina exited the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR)
Thursday morning, according to the PAGASA.
Pagasa reported that Carina was spotted some 465 kilometers north of
Itbayat, Batanes, packing maximum sustained winds of 150 kilometers per
hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 185 kph.
