INTRODUCTION The textile industry is undergoing a major reorientation towards non-clothing applications of textiles, known as technical textiles, which are growing roughly at twice rate of textiles for clothing application and now account for more than half of total textile production, The processes involved in producing technical textiles require expensive equipment and skilled workers and are, for the moment, concentrated in developed countries. Technical textiles have many applications including bedsheet; filtration and abrasive materials; furniture and healthcare upholstery; thermal protection and blood- absorbing materials; seal-belts; adhesive tape, and multiple other specialized products and applications. The indian Textile industry has been undergoing rapid transformation and is in the process of integrating with the world textile trade and industry. This change is being driven by the progressive dismantling of the MFA (Multi- Fiber Arrangement) and the imperative of the recently signed General Agreement Trade & Tariff. In this scenario, India has to move beyond its role of being a mere quota satisfying country. ‘SIRES FIRST GRADE COLLEGE KALLOU © semved wth Ot Scanner GOKAK TEXTELLTD. It helps to removes the short fibers and improves the length uniformly of cotton to make it high quality yarn A process in yarn manufacture in which the sliver is elongated by passing it through a series of pairs of rollers, each of rollers, each moving faster straight in the fibers and create greater uniformity. ‘This operation attenuates the draw frame silver to get a rove and gives a slight twist, so as to hence some strength, which is next feed to spinning machine to spin yarn, ‘SIRES FIRST GRADE COLLEGE KALLOU © semved wth Ot Scanner GOKAK TEXTELLTD. SPINNING: In this process the rove is drafted to get the required limest density and twist is to get the strength and the effect. The yarns are wound in carps (spindles) from this section, the cops are sent to post spinning section with the spinning advice slip, signed by spinning in change. WINDING: In this process bobbin cops are wounded on large cones suitable for markets. Yarns are cleared of objectionable faults and wound on large. packages with uniform tension. The weight of the cones package varies as per customer requirements. DOUBLING & TWIST! Doubling is a process in which two or more single yarns are spiraled uniformly with each other by delivering them together a pair of rollers and twisting them together by mean of revolving spindle This is done to get higher strength abrasion resistance, increased luster and reduced cairms of yarn and fancy effect. The processed cones are sent to packing selection with a slip similar to counts details advice but cone specification called "Winding details from post spinning" ‘SIRES FIRST GRADE COLLEGE KALLOU © semved wth Ot Scanner GOKAK TEXTELLTD.
