CICT-2021
5th Conference on Information and Communication Technology-2021

Coding Contest, Design Contest and Quiz


A. The event is being organised in the form of three activities:
1. Coding Contest
2. Design Contest
3. International level Technical Quiz

B. Common Rules:
 Any student across the globe can participate the events.
 Single registration fee for all the events.
 Registration Fee: Nil/-.
 Last date for registration for all events is 30th November 2021
 All the participants registered will be provided participation certificates.
 Separate prizes for all events.
 Prizes for each event as mentioned in A:

 1st Prize - ₹ 10,000/-


 2nd Prize - ₹ 5,000/-

 The prize winners can attend the CICT-2021 conference (December 8 to 10) free of
cost without registration fee.
 The prizes will be awarded during the conference valedictory session.
 Please check website for regular updates on all the contests.
 Aspirants need to register to participate for the contest by paying the registration
fee and filling the form.
 The system of conducting contests supports only one language i.e. English.

C. Event wise Rules

I. Coding Contest Rules:

1. The contest will be having only one round. The round continues for 2 hours, unless
the information about the contest states other duration time.

2. Contestants are given 3-4 problems to solve, unless the information about the
contest states another number of problems.

3. Problem statements are available only in one language: English

4. Statements of all problems become available to read at the moment the round
starts.

5. If any plagiarism is found in the code of the participant, he/she will be disqualified
immediately.

6. The leader board generated is final and no queries about it will be entertained.

7. The details of the contest platform will be provided on the conference website and
through email as well.

8. Date and timings of the contest:

 Date: December 05, 2021

 Time(IST): 18:00 – 20:00 Hrs

II. Design Contest Rules:

1. This event is a team challenge.


2. The teams can choose their own problem confining to the theme of the conference
(Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Circuits and Systems for Signal and
Data Processing, IoT and Wireless Sensor Networks, ICT in Robotics and
Automation, Big Data Analytics and Cloud Computing, Digital Security and
Information Privacy, Bio-Inspired Computing and Neural Network, Signal, Image
and Video Processing, Next-Generation Communication Technologies, Industry
4.0, Smart Manufacturing, Health Care Analytics, Education, etc.)
3. The submissions are evaluated based on your presentation, product
demonstration, submissions of all relevant documents.
4. Minimum and Maximum allowed team size is – One (01)- Three (03) students but
only one person will be allowed to give presentation.
5. A short video of 10 min. about the details and demonstration along with the
presentation slides should be shared from your google drive and the link should
be shared to the email [email protected] on or before 30 November 2021. Only
one submission per team is permitted. For multiple submissions, the first
submission only will be taken into consideration.
6. In addition to your final submission of the link, you will also have to submit your
source file and other files as a .zip or .tar compressed archive.
7. Team need to give an online presentation on 04th December for a duration of 15
minutes and demonstrate the product in front of the experts from IIITDM Kurnool.
8. You can use any tools or libraries to build your solution. There is no restriction on
the tools that you can use.
9. The Intellectual Property (IP) of the product/code of the winners will belong to the
contestants only. They can choose to put it in an open source domain under any
license.
10. The list of winners will be published in the conference website. Prizes above are
mentioned per team.
11. The committee members’ decision and recommendation will be final.
12. Deadline for submission of the project: 30 November 2021

III. Quiz Rules:

1. Participation in the quiz is open to all participant who have registered and paid
the registration fee.

2. Format of questions will of Multiple Choice Questions.

3. Quiz will be for duration of 2 hour. The contestant can answer as many questions
as possible. There are 0.25 negative marks for each wrong answer.

4. Quiz questions will be based on the theme of the conference.

5. The quiz platform and details will be provided on the Conference Website.

6. Date and timings of the contest:

 Date: December 04, 2021

 Time(IST): 11:00 – 13:00 Hrs
