Synopsis:
The movie depicts the creation of the universe where planets and its formations are created by
these alien creatures almost like construction work. Our young main characters, who seem very
enthusiastic about the beauty of these planets, are disappointed by how boring and similar the
planets are in the solar system that they are building. Through his artistic skills and imagination
he sketched a painting of what seems like our earth’s moon and through disobeying the rules of
his job, he went out to make that moon into reality. His work is later revealed to be the reason
why our unique double planet system exists today and is the reason species are able to evolve.
It's a beautiful story depicting the importance of individualism as well as the great journey of self
discovery and expression, breaking out of the safe zone to create something truly special and
memorable.

Sound design discussion:
The looking planet has a lot of fantastic sound design that really pulls the viewer into the story.
Starting with the score, the sound tracks are very fitting to the feelings that the scene is trying to
convey as well as the emotion of the characters, ranging from funny cartoon-ish soundtrack for
comedic moments to beautifully composed orchestra tracks to push the feelings of the viewers
forward, these soundtracks are also used situationally from being very subtle in the background
and then pushed forward powerfully in dramatic scenes . The foley sounds in many scenes are
very realistic, the tiny details of the different character interacting with the object and world
around them are presented very realistically with a wide use of foley sound design, details like
how the suits of the worker work and interacts as well as the tools that they work with are
designed really well with many small details. Background sounds are also very detailed and
really makes the surrounding of different scenes feel very real whether it's a big or small
environment, it does a lot for the world building of the story, personally my favorite part is the
atmospheric white noise the play when portraying the planets up close, it really shows the clear
scales of how big and beautiful they [Link] mixing of all of theses sound are also excellent
making them work really well together, background sound and foreground sound interacts with
each other very accurately and they really know when to push a certain sound forward and
stands out from the other. One of the sounds that really contributes to the feelings in the story
beautifully as is the audio from the moon mission constantly being play through out the different
scenes, whether it’s diegetic or not its very emotional and shows the beauty future that Lufo has
created through his work of art, seeing how far and advanced humans have come to reach the
moon.
