From the Mission Field…

Dear Pastor Wee & Shalom Brethren,

Greetings from Vietnam!

What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benfits toward me? [Psalm 116:12]

This whole Psalm is coming from the heart of a Psalmest that is humbled and grateful for all
the benefits and blessings that the LORD has afforded him. The Psalmist asks and answers
the questions what we can render to the LORD in response to all His benefits. First, Praise
and Thank the LORD; then, Pray and Trust the LORD; lastly, Pay our Commitments to the
LORD. May the LORD grant us the humble and grateful heart in recognition of all His benefits
and blessings through the Lord Jesus Christ. His goodness and grace has never been meant
to make us proud and feeling entitled.

MEANINGFUL PRAISES

We are beyond grateful to the Lord for the wedding of our daughter Rachelle Anne D. Espino
and David Chymist last June 21. The lives of both David and Rachelle are testimonies and
trophies of God’s grace and goodness. From the time they were born and up to their salvation
and calling to the ministry and all the wonderful opportunities the Lord has granted them,
surrounding them with godly influences and with all the amazing support and love from
friends and classmates, the Lord has just been so good to them. We are so grateful for the
love and support of Pastor Szydlowski and Pastor Pangle and Pastor Chymist and family.
We are praying that soon they will be ready and able to go to the field the Lord has called
them to labour.

We are also praise the Lord for two of our teens receiving Jesus Christ as their Saviour. One
of our ministries is the GBIMC Teens Group and this past couple of weeks we had Japhia
Haniel Flores and Queen Canto receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Our children
are an heritage from the Lord and we need to fight for them and to do everything we can to
protect them and the most important thing we can do for them is for them to know Jesus
Christ as their Savior. That is why GBIMC and SAGA are very passionate in reaching the
teens and young people with the gospel.

MINISTRY PROSPECTS

Last June 26 Brother Le Anh Tu Phuong graduated from Baptist Voice Bible College in the
Philippines. Brother Phuong is from Quang Ngai Province in Central Vietnam. He has
surrendered to God’s call to go back and reach Central Vietnam with the gospel of Jesus
Christ. In the meantime, Brother Phuong will be HCMC for his internship and to have more
practical training in the ministry. Three of our Vietnamese men are preparing to “launch out
into the deep” will serve the Lord in northern, central and southern part of Vietnam. Brother
Nguyen Van Khanh will serve in the North; Brother Le Anh Tu Phuong in the Central part and
Brother Le Nguyen Quang Minh in the South. As William Carey said, “The future is as bright
as the promises of God.”

This semester ends all the lectures and classes for Independent Baptist Bible Institute -
Vietnam. Our students are preparing for their thesis writing and one more semester for their
ministry practicum. We have five candidates for graduation that have worked so hard on top
of their regular jobs and even university studies to learn the Bible from IBBI and to prepare
for the full time ministry. We have been richly blessed and favored with some of the best
instructors and mentors these past years at IBBI. These were men who are not just
professors, but practicioners of the word of God and the work of God.

MANIFOLD PRAYERS

“For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.” [1
Corinthians 16:9] We covet your prayers for our family and our ministry for every adversity
that comes along every opportunity of ministry. Our desire is to stablish model Independent
Baptist Churches in HCMC, Danang and Hanoi. We are now preparing the young men that
have surrendered and committed to go to these places. Please, pray for their protection from
the enemy and for God’s provision for them for godly wives and that God will supply all their
needs.

Please, pray for us as we continue to translate sound Baptist materials for discipleship.
Translating Biblically sound books and discipleship materials is a huge need in Vietnam. We
are now on our way to finishing translating the ABCs of Christian Maturity into Vietnamese.
We are hoping to finish it this year and praying just like the ABCs of Christian Growth we will
be able to print it with the government stamp of approval. Please, pray for the financial
provision for us to print enough copies to distribute to all our fellow missionaries and national
pastors.

Please, pray for a second batch of IBBI students. Pray that the Lord will call more Vietnamese
young men and women to the ministry. We thank the Lord that we are beginning to see the
fruits of the Filipino missionaries in Vietnam. But we are barely scratching the surface in
evangelizing a nation of 100 million people.
SHALOM MONTHLY March 2024

Please, pray also for good health; protection and provision for the Espino family as we
contionue to serve the Lord in Vietnam. Thank you so much for your years of faithful
partnership in missions. May the Lord Jesus Christ continue to bless you all and to use you
more for His glory and honor!

2nd QUARTER REPORT OF 2024

Dear Pastor Tiong and Church,

This quarter was a memorable one. We praise and thank God and also for all of you for entering into
our labors – John 4:38. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Our church camp was a successful one. It was a humbling experience to be reminded once again how
to love the church the way our Lord Jesus Christ did. And as for us leaders NOT as “lords” but
SERVANTS. We thank the Hernans and the Ponces who joined us in this year’s camp.

We had another victorious missions’ trip during this quarter. Our goal is to build a solid relationship
between the local leader and his community where he serves. It’s our privilege to work alongside
them as they continue to share the gospel to their community. One family was led to the Lord by one
of our local church pastors. It was a joy for me when I saw our Filipino members spearheading this
trip.

The local youth camp was a memorable event as well. Our partner Bro. K organized this annual youth
event and we praise God again for the results. There were 4 professions of faith and 10 surrendered
to serve “fulltime” in the ministry.

Another milestone was the graduation of our Hmong Bible student. Although he was the only one
who graduated, we were so excited to see where God will lead him as he endeavors to reach his own
people for the Lord. In addition, there were 18 Filipino members of ours who enrolled in our Bible
Institute in partnership with LSBC.

In behalf of my family and the different ministries

here we gladly received your MISSIONS SUPPORT
of P25,348.44 in the 2nd quarter of 2024.

THE INVENTOR FAMILY

We had another great harvest during this quarter in both of our English and local mission works. We
had a total 58 professions of faith (8 Filipinos) and 12 baptisms (3 Filipinos) for this quarter!
