Gabay sa Magulang/ Tagapag-alaga

Malaki ang gampanin ng mga magulang upang mapagtagumpayan ang mga


gawaing nakalatag dito. Kakailanganin ng mag-aaral ang inyong patnubay at
gabay sa mga gawaing nakapaloob dito. Kung kaya, hinihingi ng DepEd ang
inyong suporta upang mapagtagumpayan ng mag-aaral ang mga hamon sa
buhay, maisakatuparan ang mga inaasahang gawain at higit sa lahat,
matutuhan ang mga kasanayan sa buhay na kailangan nilang taglayin sa
yugtong ito.
Tatalakayin sa ikalawang modyul (1st Quarter) na
pinamagatang “Connecting with Others” ang tungkol sa pagkakaparehas at
pagkakaiba ng mga tao. Tulungan ang mag-

aaral na salaminpaaralan at ng komunidad at gayundin ang paraan ng pagpapain

ang kahalagahan ng pagiging bahagi ng pamilya, kita ng

pagpapahalaga sa pagkakaiba tungo sa maayos na

pakikisalamuha sa kapIhinanda ang modyul na itouwa. upang magkaroon ang


mag-aaral ng kaalaman sa iba’t ibang aspeto na makapagpapaunlad sa
kanilang mga sarili na magagamit sa kanilang pang-araw-araw na pamumuhay.
Hinihingi ang inyong tulong sa paggabay sa pagunawa at pagsagot ng mga
ilang katanungan sa mga aralin sa modyul. Kung may mga katanungan
hinggil sa bawat aralin, huwag mag-atubili na manghingi ng tulong sa kaniyang
gurong-tagapayo.

This module is designed for learners like you to help you in your
academicrelated needs. It will help you address concerns affecting your individuality
(self), your relationship with others, and your interaction in the community. This
module also guides you in discovering your interests, talents and skills that will help
you explore future career options and opportunities.

2 CONNECTING WITH OTHERS

Learning Objectives

At the end of this module, you are expected to:


1. enumerate the rights, similarities and differences of individuals;
2. identify the importance of having others in the family, school and community;
3. demonstrate respect for individual differences to maintain harmonious relationship;
and
4. share positive experiences as a result of respecting individual differences.

Suggested Total Time Allotted: 180 minutes (Week 3-5 of 1 st Quarter) Materials
Needed:
• Ball pen/ Pencil
• Clean sheets of paper

Introduction
Suggested Time Allotment: 5 minutes (Week 3)
After knowing yourself, it is now time to get to know the people around you.
Explore how you can relate with one another. Try to appreciate your connections with
them and how these connections can help you build positive relationships.
Selfdiscovery would be fun, exciting and full of surprises as you connect yourself to
others. They give us a different view on how we take things and hopefully be mindful
with the people around us.

Read the poem below and try to understand the meaning and its message.

with Equal Rights
You are part of the society and you share equal human rights with other
people. United Nations declared that everyone is entitled to all the rights and
privileges. It doesn’t matter if you’re different in color, gender, language, and religion.
All have equal rights. However, you need to be responsible, as well.
The table below shows some of the rights of a child and their responsibilities.
