Field practice is a practical learning and training process in their respective fields of expertise.
This is intended to provide real experience for students about the work environment, ethos and
work culture which cannot yet be fully conveyed in school.
6 months ago, I carried out field work practice at CV ENDRA ADHINATHA, a company that
was founded on 21 December 2020, which is located at Perum Teluk Etna I, Arjosari sub-
district, Malang [Link] ENDRA ADHINATHA itself operates in the field of building
construction, such as boarding houses, villas, offices, or even private residences
while carrying out practical field work, I gained a lot of new knowledge and experience that I
didn't get at school, such as calculating the volume of buildings, drawing several large boarding
houses, and being a work project implementer
After we carried out this Field Work Practice activity, we gained a lot of knowledge that we
didn't get at school and real experience in the world of work. At school we are taught various
kinds of theories that we can use as a basis for carrying out Field Work Practice PKL activities
which are very useful for developing the knowledge gained at school and as a process of
strengthening them later when we are involved in the world of work.
For students who will carry out Field Work Practices (PKL) to prepare themselves further. This
can be done by mastering the material presented at school. Because all of this material is very
useful in industry and in the field.
After carrying out practical field work activities at CV. ENDRA ADHINATHA for six months,
in accordance with the discussion in the previous chapter, the following conclusions can be
drawn
a. Implementing PKL can provide a general overview of the world of work, knowledge in
dealing with work environment problems, practice good attitudes and behavior in the work
environment.
b. Implementing PKL is very useful because it adds knowledge that has not been taught in
school.
c. There are various terms that are found during street vendors that are not taught in schools,
such as materials or tools. So you can learn to gain new knowledge.
d. During the PKL the author gained knowledge about work methods in the industrial world that
were applied
At the end of this report, the author will provide several suggestions for schools, industry and
readers regarding the implementation of Field Work Practices. For readers, especially students of
SMK Negeri 1 Singosari, who will then carry out Field Work Practices, the author hopes to
prepare themselves, improve their abilities so they can learn with a sense of responsibility for the
work given by the company, to make it easier to carry out Field Work Practices. in the industry
later, and always maintain a good name for yourself and your school within the company or
wherever you are.
