Good morning, candidates!
Welcome to venue for the conduct of National Assessment.
My name is Mr. Amylson Quiachon, I am an accredited competency assessor for
SLAUGHTERING OPERATIONS swine NC II NC II.
I would like to acknowledge the presence Mr. David Samson one of our Director in
TESDA Training Center and Ms. Riza Lim our representative and vice president in
Provincial TESDA office.
You do not have to worry about their presence. They are here to oversee the conduct of
competency assessment and to check if the conduct is in accordance with the
prescribed competency assessment methodology and procedures. They will not assess
you.
Before I will start, let me first check the attendance. Please present to me your
admission slips once your named is called. Mr. Homs, Mr. Edward, and Mr. Edward
may I see your ID just to double check. please sign on attendance sheet. Ok thank

I have here with me your accomplished self-assessment guide. This is an indication
that you know and can perform all the units of competencies under
SLAUGHTERING OPERATIONS swine NC II enumerated in this qualification.

Today, I am going to administer competency assessment for Computer System
Servicing NC II
This qualification is consisting of 4 core competencies namely:
1. Handle and sharpen knives
2. Perform initial preparation procedures
3. Prepare carcass
4. Perform final procedures
These four units are clustered to form one assessment package for full qualification.
The purpose of National Assessment aims to determine the level of your competency
and for the issuance of National Certificate Level 3 issued by the TESDA and will serve
as a license for employment with the validity for 5 years.
I am going to use demonstration and oral questioning to assess your underpinning
knowledge and underpinning skills.
There will be two assessment result named competent and not yet competent. If found
to be competent you can get your NC after five working days at TESDA office.
Just bring with you your Competency Assessment Result Summary or CARS, your
passport size picture with collar and white background and 50php for processing fee.
If you found to be not yet competent, you are qualified for reassessment just go to the
nearest assessment center and schedule your reassessment anytime.
If you are not satisfied with the assessment result you may write a letter of appeal
addressed to the TESDA provincial Director
For the allowable adjustment, we have the CR at the end of the hallway, the cafeteria
at the back of the stage of the building fronting registrar’s office.
FOR DO'S AND DONTS, only I as the assessor, the ACAC manager and the TESDA
representative are allow inside the assessment venue to ensure the confidentiality of
the assessment process and result.
Please observe precautionary measures in handling tools.

following task:
1. Handle and sharpen knives
2. Perform initial preparation procedures
3. Prepare carcass
4. Perform final procedures
With allotted time of four hours. Right after the demonstration, please prepare for oral
questioning.
