REVIEW
Units 1-4 (page 62)
1. Objectives
By the end of this lesson, students will be able to review the vocabulary items and the sentence structures
from Unit 1 to Unit 4.
1.1. Language knowledge and skills
Vocabulary: sunglasses, water park, skate park, monkey, feather, stormy, rainy, swim, snake, library,
raincoat.
Sentence patterns: This is a monkey. These are monkeys. Bring your sunglasses because it's sunny
today. OK, thank you. That's a snake. Those are snakes. What's the weather like today? It's sunny. What
do you like doing when it's hot? I like swimming.
Competences
Self-control and independent learning: review the vocabulary about animals, someone’s abilities,
weather and activities.
Communication and collaboration: work in pairs or groups to talk about animals, someone’s abilities,
weather and activities.
Critical thinking and creativity: learn how to talk about animals, someone’s abilities, weather and
activities.
1.2. Attributes
Kindness: support their friends to complete the learning tasks.
Diligence: focus on the lesson and work hard to complete all the tasks.

2. Teaching aids and materials

PowerPoint slides.

3. Procedures
A. Warm up (5 minutes)
a. Objectives: To help the students review the vocabulary (Units 1-4), generate the students’ interests,
and lead in the Review lesson.
b. Content: Playing the game: “Go get it”.
c. Expected outcomes and assessment
- Task completed with excellence: Students quickly identify and get the correct flashcards.
- Task completed: Students can identify and get the correct flashcards.
- Task uncompleted: Students are unable to identify and get the correct flashcards.
d. Organization
