Remove/install
1 Perform disable for the high-voltage on-board AR54.10-P-1150NKE
electrical system
2 Drain air conditioning system, then disconnect AR83.30-P-1760NKB
air conditioning service unit
3 Remove charge control unit (N83/10) AR54.10-P-5106NKE
4 Detach high-voltage battery circuit heat AR20.00-P-0210NKE
exchanger (1) and place to side
Attention must be paid to ensure that the
high-voltage battery circuit heat exchanger (1)
with connected coolant lines and refrigerant
lines is secured to prevent it from falling down.
5 Unclip electrical lines (2) from carrier (3)
6 Detach coolant line (4) from carrier (3) Installation: Cable ties must be replaced.
7 Detach clamp (5) from carrier (3)
8 Detach vacuum line (6) from carrier (3)
9 Unclip electrical wiring harness (7) from carrier
(3) and expose
10 Remove screws/bolts (9) and place bracket
(10) to one side
11 Remove screw/bolt (13) and unclip positive
line (12) from carrier (3)
12 Detach coolant line (14) from carrier (3)
13 Remove clamp (15) and expose coolant line
(14)
14 Unscrew nuts (17)
15 Detach retaining clip (18)
16 Remove screws/bolts (19)
17 Remove screws/bolts (20, 21) Bolt, charger frame to drive unit frame *BA08.20-P-1001-01F
18 Press together retaining clip (8) and press
downwards
19 Carefully remove carrier (3)
Carefully lift carrier (3) and check whether it is
completely exposed.
Otherwise damage may occur.
Helper required.
20 Unscrew screw/bolt (40) and remove low-
pressure line (41) from electric refrigerant
compressor (A9/5)
Compressor oils (specification 362.1) BB00.40-P-0362-01A
Installation: Sealing ring of low-pressure
line (41) must be replaced and moistened with
compressor oil.
21 Seal opening of low-pressure line (41) and at
refrigerant compressor (A9/5) using suitable The opening of the low-pressure line (41) and
stop plugs at the refrigerant compressor (A9/5) must be
sealed.
Otherwise, penetrating dirt and moisture will
damage the air conditioning system.

22 Remove screw/bolt (42) and remove high-
pressure line (43) from electric refrigerant
compressor
Compressor oils (specification 362.1) BB00.40-P-0362-01A
Installation: Sealing ring of high-pressure
line (43) must be replaced and moistened with
compressor oil.
23 Seal opening of high-pressure line (43) and at
refrigerant compressor (A9/5) using suitable The opening of the high-pressure line (43) and
