NARRATIVE REPORT
SPEACIAL PROGRAM FOR EMPLOYMENT OF STUDENT (SPES)
The SPES program starts in 25th of July, the DOLE staff and other LGU Employee’s
oriented us about the program. I’ve been assigned in the LGU, together with other 31 SPES,
while the remaining is on different Brgy. Halls. The next day, all LGU SPES and SPES
supervisor conduct a meeting at the function hall. The meeting is all about the assignments to our
designated departments and soon after we’ve been introduced to the department head gave a task
with the supervision of a casual. I’ve been assigned to create a private government website.
Starts of another day, I started familiarizing and exploring the tools and other functions of
the wix free website builder and finding a format in creating a government website. The next
day, I initiated building the task. A week after the progress of making the website isn’t that good.
The start of 1st day of second week, I finished the mast head, body content area, auxiliary area,
gutter and measurements of the webpage. August 2, I continue the webpage design. Putting and
creating the inner part and information of the webpage. August 5, a casual told me to print the
first part of a plan with 206 pages. After that day, I continued printing the second part with 318
pages. August 9, 2nd day of third week, I reprint the first part of the plan and continue making the
webpage. The next day, I escorted one of the staff to GSO and carry on with the website.
August 15, first day of 4th week, one of casual will give me activities which is challenging
from me, I been assign this day creating pre-face and message of the Brgy. Captain of brgy.
Tinigban. I spend my day thinking and searching the format creating socio-economic plan of
brgy. Profile. I spend my whole day creating Pre-face of brgy. Tinigban. The 2nd day of 4th week,
I already started creating brgy. Captain message, it’s about the gratitude on behalf of all brgy.
Official to LGU and especially to Municipal planning and development office who conduct
survey and research within their Barangay which is they heard their issue and concern that they
need to develop in their area. This week my day exhausted but full of learning aside for giving
task from me, we have already our daily routine together with casual which is cleaning the four
corner of MPDO office.
Last week of our work in MPDO as their SPES will make me reminisce the moment
because I became friends from them and gain learning from them. I already know their position
in MPDO so that I will remember then if I leaving the office. I am happy to one of the student
who avail this kind of opportunity it will help a lots in my budget. Thanks to this Special
Program for Employment of Student(SPES)
