EXPLANATION
To complete this lab, do the following:

Merge and center a range of cells and add a style.


1. Select A1:D1.
2. On the Home tab, in the Alignment group, click Merge & Center.
3. With the merged cell selected, click Cell Styles in the Styles group of the Home tab.
4. Choose the Title style from the dropdown gallery.
Add a style to a range of cells.
1. Select A2:D2.
2. On the Home tab, in the Styles group, click Cell Styles.
3. Select the Heading 3 style from the dropdown gallery.
Apply phone number formatting.
1. Select C3:C7.
2. On the Home tab, in the Number group, open the dropdown and choose More Number Formats.
3. Select Special from the Category menu, then choose Phone Number from the Type menu.
4. Click OK.
Resize columns using AutoFit.
1. Double-click between the headings for columns A and B.
2. Double-click between the headings for columns B and C.
3. Double-click between the headings for columns C and D.
Change the width of column D.
1. Click and hold between the headings for columns D and E.
2. Drag the mouse to the right until the column is 200 pixels wide.
3. Let go of the mouse.
Apply text wrapping.
1. Select D3:D7.
2. On the Home tab, in the Alignment group, click Wrap Text.
Resize multiple rows.
1. Select rows 3:7 by clicking and dragging across their row headings.
2. Resize one of the selected rows by clicking between row headings and dragging to 60 pixels.
3. The other rows will automatically resize.
Center content in a cell.
1. Select A2:D7.
2. On the Home tab, in the Alignment group, click Center and Middle Align.
