A. Concept Notes
Long-Term and Short-Term Goals
* A long-term goal is something you want to do in the future. These goals are usually
achievable after a long period of time.
Ex: Start a family.
Open a business.
*A short-term goal is something you want to do soon. They are the small goals that
can help you make big changes.
Ex: Write a resume.
Talk to the teacher after class.

Directions: Draw a heart if the statement is a short-term goal and a star if


the statement is a long-term goal.

Instructions:
1. Form groups with 5 members each.
2. I will post 5 general goals like graduating from college, speaking English fluently,
putting up a business, travelling abroad, buying a car, and becoming a
barangay captain.
3. I will assign one goal to each group where each member of the group must
give one (1) short-term and one (1) long-term goal in order to achieve the main
goal given to them.
4. As a group, identify at least two (2) challenges in achieving the major goal.
5. Present your output in a creative graphic organizer with pictures, shapes,
indigenous materials, and colors.
6. You will be given 15 minutes to finish your outputs.
7. Post your work in a strategic area assigned to your group.
8. We will do the Learning Walk.
