Many would say that a couple getting married before their twenties was destined to fail, and
perhaps there was some truth in those warnings. No one had the maturity to even contemplate
sharing the rest of your days with someone at such a young age. However, this was not the
case for Zeno and Kaya.

The couple married at the age of nineteen, not due to a pregnancy, interest, or the excitement
of the moment, but because in some way, getting married was something both were sure
would eventually happen, so why prolong the wait?

"I give them six months," some people said, assuring that as soon as problems and fights
began, the two would separate. However, their first anniversary arrived, and the two young
lovers seemed increasingly motivated to overcome any kind of obstacle together.

The first inconvenience came in the form of an illness that affected Kaya to such an extent
that she was forced to pause her university studies for a semester to prevent her health from
deteriorating further. Despite the adversities, Zeno remained steadfast by her side. He spent
the most worrying nights awake, taking care of Kaya, bringing her medicine, and ensuring
she never felt alone. He never faltered or doubted for a moment, accepting the heavy burden
of continuing to work and study to support the both of them.

Half a year later, Kaya resumed her studies in pedagogy, completely motivated to give her
best, accepting temporary jobs that were sometimes offered by the professors, such as
summer courses or courses.

The years passed, and now in their home, two framed degrees hung on the wall, alongside a
large photograph where the happy couple was seen laughing, each wearing a beautiful crown
of flowers adorning their heads, which brightened as the sunlight streamed in to herald a new
day.

The couple, on the other hand, was getting everything ready for their day. Zeno packed two
bento boxes prepared in advance by him, placing one next to his wife's bag and the other in
his own backpack filled with books and a laptop where he projected all kinds of content
depending on the subject he had to teach to his university students.

Kaya drove the car, first dropping off Zeno at the large institution of higher learning, wishing
him a good day with an affectionate kiss, watching him disappear into the crowd of students
and faculty walking in different directions. She found it amusing how easily her partner
blended in with the student body, and at the beginning of each class, she enjoyed listening to
the students express their confusion when they once again mistook him for a fellow student,
imagining the surprised looks on the faces of students as a guy who looked just as young or
even younger than the average student entered the classroom and introduced himself as the
supposed teacher.

She set the car in motion again and drove to the preschool where she worked as a teacher.
Well, at least there, she wasn't mistaken for a student.
