InnoVenture

Confluence 2024
Objective:

The objective of the InnoVenture Confluence is to foster entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and creativity
among young minds. Through this event, we aim to provide a platform for students to showcase their
entrepreneurial ideas, receive mentorship from industry experts, and gain valuable insights into the world
of startups.

Round 1: Idea Pitch

In the first round, students will have the opportunity to pitch their startup ideas in front of a panel of
judges. The objective is to assess the creativity, feasibility, and potential impact of their ideas. Each
participant will have a limited time to present their idea and convince the judges of its merit.

- They must succinctly explain the problem they


are addressing, their solution, target market,
and unique value proposition.

- Judges will evaluate the originality, feasibility,


Format:- scalability, and market potential of each idea.

-Each participant will have 2 minutes to pitch - Top ideas will advance to the next round
their idea. based on judges' scores and audience feedback.
Round 2: Business Model Canvas

In the second round, selected participants will delve deeper into their startup ideas by creating a
business model canvas. The objective is to assess their understanding of key business elements such as
customer segments, value proposition, revenue streams, and cost structure.

Format:
- Participants will be provided with a template
of the business model canvas.
- They must fill out each section with relevant
information pertaining to their startup idea.
- Judges will evaluate the clarity, coherence,
and viability of the business model presented.
- Participants may be asked to defend and
elaborate on specific aspects of their canvas
during a Q&A session with the judges.
- Top teams will proceed to the final round
based on the quality of their business model
canvas.
Round 3: Prototype Showcase

In the final round, finalists will showcase prototypes or minimum viable products (MVPs) of their
startup ideas. The objective is to demonstrate tangible progress and validate the feasibility of their
concepts. Participants will have the opportunity to receive feedback from judges and refine their
prototypes based on the insights gained.
Format:
- Each finalist will have a designated space to showcase their prototype or MVP.
- They must provide a brief demonstration and explanation of how their product/service works.
- Judges and attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the prototypes and ask questions.
- Finalists will be evaluated based on the functionality, innovation, user experience, and market
readiness of their prototypes.
- Winners will be announced based on judges' scores and attendees .

Through these three rounds, the InnoVenture Confluence aims to inspire, educate, and empower the
next generation of entrepreneurs, equipping them with the skills and confidence to pursue their startup
