Abstract
The following paper presents the solution design and configuration of an e-commerce website cloud
system, exclusively developed for the client to assist the client in its transition to AWS for its shopping
site. This solution is intended to meet the needs and goals of the customer in full and to ensure the
migration to AWS as quickly and smoothly as possible. The design places a strong emphasis on several key
aspects: There are some crucial factors including scalability to allow the cloud based system to support
various usage rates and future growth; low latency to make the system performant and responsive;
availability of the cloud system to ensure constant functionality; cost control to keep expenses at a
minimum; security measures to minimize customer data leakage and fraud operations; geographical
location to help buyers locate the system; and disaster recovery to address system failure. This
comprehensive approach ensures that the client’s e-commerce functionality is ready for issues and
opportunities in today’s need and beyond.
Introduction
The Commerce Space is ready to develop, and there is an acute need for a stable and efficient
infrastructure to fulfill consumers’ emerging needs. In this case, it is crucial to outline the factors that
should be taken into consideration when designing the plan and the actions that have to be taken in order
to address the client’s requirements as well as to transition smoothly to AWS. The purpose is in enhancing
efficiency and reliability of their e-commerce storefront by utilizing AWS’s superior facilities. Analysing
several layers of cloud architecture, including resource utilisation, data processing and management,
security measures, and optimisation techniques, the study aims to serve as a useful reference for the
effective construction of a non-trivial and efficient online retail system in the cloud environment.
Business Scenario Overview
This is because the customer has to redesign a system to fit a new set of requirements and also to host
the customer’s e-commerce website on AWS. The specific factors that are important in this project
include the ability to accommodate growing numbers of audience, the need to minimize the response
time in the application to enhance the user experience and the need to ensure the application is always
available to the audience. In addition, the solution has to be cost-efficient using only managed cloud
services, secure data with encryption, and provide a global response to support the organization’s
international activity. In addition, the architecture must meet the necessary recovery point objectives
and recovery time objectives in order to recover quickly in case of disruption.

Step-1: VPC and Subnets
I went to the VPC service in the AWS Management Console, logged in, and made a VPC with a CIDR block
of 192.168.0.0/16. Next, in separate Availability Zones, I created two private subnets (192.168.2.0/24 and
192.168.3.0/24) and two public subnets (192.168.0.0/24 and 192.168.1.0/24).
