1. Ameliorate
- Definition: To make something better or improve a situation.
- Sample Sentence: The new educational program was implemented to ameliorate the
students' performance in mathematics.

2. Unattainable
- Definition: Impossible to achieve or reach.
- Sample Sentence: Becoming a professional astronaut seemed unattainable to her due to
her fear of heights.

3. Superfluous
- Definition: Exceeding what is necessary or required; unnecessary.
- Sample Sentence: The additional toppings on the pizza were superfluous since it was
already loaded with cheese and vegetables.

4. Amorphous
- Definition: Lacking a specific or defined shape; formless.
- Sample Sentence: The amorphous cloud in the sky seemed to change its shape with the
wind.

5. Misconstrued
- Definition: To interpret something incorrectly, often leading to a misunderstanding.
- Sample Sentence: His silence was misconstrued as indifference, but in reality, he was
deeply concerned about the situation.

6. Prohibitive
- Definition: Serving as an obstacle or barrier; preventing or discouraging something.

7. Stipulate

contract.

- Definition: The quality of being rough or crude in texture or behavior.

maintain professional relationships.

21. Augment
- Definition: to make greater, more numerous, larger, or more intense; to supplement
- Sample Sentence: The impact of the report was augmented by its timing.

22. Mitigate
- Definition: to cause to become less harsh or hostile; to make less severe or painful
- Sample Sentence: Emergency funds are being provided to help mitigate the effects of
the disaster.

23. Discern
- Definition: perceive, recognize, or detect with the senses. synonyms: distinguish, make
out, pick out, recognise, recognize, spot, tell apart.

- Definition: not in harmony or keeping with the surroundings or other aspects of
something.

27. Provocative
- Definition: causing anger or another strong reaction, especially deliberately

- Definition: the state of having mixed feelings or contradictory ideas/feelings/attitude
about something or someone.

29. Irrefutable
- Definition: impossible to deny or disprove.
- Sample Sentence: While the health benefits of oatmeal may be irrefutable, the taste
might not appeal to everyone.

30. Orthodox
- Definition: conforming with established or accepted standards, as in religion, behaviour,
or attitudes.
- Sample Sentence: She believes in the benefits of both orthodox medicine and alternative
medicine.

31. Spurious
- Definition: not being what it purports to be; false or fake
- Sample Sentence: After receiving a low appraisal on my diamond ring, I realized the
suspicious-looking jeweller had sold me a spurious piece.

32. Equivocal
- Definition: subject to two or more interpretations and usually used to mislead or confuse
- Sample Sentence: He responded to reporters' questions with equivocal answers.

33. Unclassifiable
- Definition: not able to be assigned to a particular class or category.

34. Scrupulous
- Definition: careful, thorough, and extremely attentive to details.

35. Galvanising
- Definition: shock or excite (someone) into taking action.

45. Convening

case.

- Definition: deserving blame.
