SAFETY LOCKOUT What is LOTO? (Lock out / Tag out = LOTO)
TAGOUT When the equipment or tool is being repaired, maintained or cleaned, the power source related to the equipment
need to be cut off, so that the equipment cannot be started, and all energy sources (power supply, hydraulic
source, air source, etc.) are turned off.

Lockout is using the safety and other equipment to lock the machine to isolate from

China sets national standards for lockou

In 2009, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic
of China and the China National Standardization Administration issued the national standard GB / T2.2-2009
Safety Requirements for Electrical Equipment Application Sites-Part 2: Safety Measures for Operation in Power-

On May 12, 2017, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's
Republic of China and the National Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China issued the
National Standard GB / T 33579-2017 safety of machinery- control method of hazardous energy -lockout/ tagout.
The national standard began machinery on December 1, 2017.

even install new machinery and equipment for the machines and equipment, the energy isolating device and the
equipment should be designed to fit the safety lockout and tagout.
• Operators should test the ability control rules at least once a year, ensure the standard procedures and
requirements are implemented. The authorizedemployees perform regular inspection, rather than the staff who
