Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

General event:

Q. When will the On Demand recordings of trainings and events be available?


A. All sessions will be made available on-demand within10 business days following the
live event.

Q. Will the live sessions be delivered in any language other than English?
A. No. All live sessions will be delivered in English.

Q. How can I change my time zone?


A. To change your time zone click on the time zone tab at the top of the page in the
Home Page. Once open, select your desired time zone.

Q. How do I access Closed Captioning?


A. Access your track and watch the live session. Click on “CC” at the bottom of the
virtual conference.
Course Curriculum (Sessions and Tracks):

Q. How do I sign up for my sessions?


A. Navigate to the “Tracks” page. Click on the track selected during your registration to
open the full curriculum list. Then follow these steps:
• Select the time zone you would like to attend
• Click the “Sign Up” button to reserve your seat in each day’s session and Q&A
sessions. This will automatically add the sessions you signed up for to your
Training Bag.

Q. I am having trouble staying logged in to my sessions?


A. You can try switching browsers. We recommend using Google Chrome on a laptop or
PC to ensure the best experience. The Virtual Conference only allows one login per
account. Please try logging out from your account before switching your browsers. You
can logout under ‘My Profile’ to ensure your logout was successful.

Q. I am unable to launch my session?


A. The launch button will be inhibited until the session is ready to start. Sessions will
open 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

Q. Can I access content for more than one track?


A. If you decide after your initial registration that you would like to switch to another
training track or add an additional track, you can update your profile by following these
steps:
1. Click on the person icon in the upper right-hand corner and select “My Profile”

2. Select your desired tracks


3. Click Save

Please note: At any time before or during the event you can register for sessions in
any track.

Q. Can I register to attend sessions during multiple time zones?


A. Yes. You can register for any time zone and any session.

Labs (Skillable):

Q. How do I sign up for Labs?


A. Navigate to the “Tracks” page. Click on the track selected during your registration to
open the full curriculum list. Then follow these steps:
• Select the time zone you would like to attend.
• Click the “Launch” button to start your lab. If you receive a message that your
class is full, please launch the next session.
• Please note that Labs are only available from the event’s start date, for up to 30
days.
Q. Why should I join the Lab Support / Q&A Sessions?
A. These sessions help resolve questions or problems that learners may have with labs
or content. This could include:
• Problems starting labs or with exercises within the labs
• Questions regarding the content from live sessions or Microsoft Learn content.

Q: How are these sessions run?
A. Sessions are hosted by Microsoft Certified Trainers. They will answer your questions
live through the Q&A Session chat window.

Q. When are the Lab Support and Q&A sessions available?


A. The Lab Support and Q&A sessions run 30 minutes after the live lecture ends. These
are available three times daily, please choose the time zone that works best for you.
Otherwise, bring questions to your live lecture session on the following day.

Q. How do I get support for Lab Access or what if I need help on the lab platform?
A. Please use this link to create a support ticket for any lab related issues. Note: the
Skillable team is only available to assist with Technical issues on the platform, you will
need to join a session to have your Lab/content questions answered.

Recordings:

Q. Will the sessions be recorded?


A. The event sessions are live sessions. However, they will be recorded and made
available within the VC (Virtual Conference) until the end of June 2023. On Demand
content will be available within 10 business days after the event ends.

Steps to access recordings


1. Select Watch On-Demand Content
2. Select the track of your choice and click the Launch button

Q. Will the presentation materials be made available after the event?


A. The slide decks presented during the sessions will not be shared. However, all
materials are available on Microsoft Learn.

Q. Are the presentation sessions available for download?
A. No, sessions cannot be downloaded. The recording will be available in the Virtual
Conference until the end of June 2023. Use the steps above to watch On-Demand
content.

Technical Support:

Q. Who should I contact if I have technical/additional questions?


A. Please refer to the Event Help Guide: Event Help Guide > FAQs (on24.com) and
submit an Attendee Issue Report if you continue to have issues. The platform team will
reach out to help you resolve issues you may be experiencing.

Q. How do I add the calendar invites to my business calendar?


A. Select the “Calendar” icon in the Track Curriculum.

Q. What should I do if I have registered but am unable to access the Virtual


Conference (VC)?
A. Please log into the Virtual Conference (VC) with the same email address and unique
password you created when you registered for the event. If you are still having issues,
please submit an Attendee Issue Report.

Microsoft Learn Content:

Q. How do I access my Microsoft Learn Content?


A. During your sessions, you will be able to access the Microsoft Learn Content through
the link in the Resources widget.

Q. Can I access Microsoft Learn Content in another language?


A. Yes. To change the language of your Microsoft, Learn Content, please follow the
instructions below:
1. Click on your Class ID
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Language button

3. Select your language and scroll down to “Items in this collection” to view your
Microsoft Learn Content.

Microsoft Certification Voucher and Exams:

Q. How do I register to take an exam?


A. Access the following link: Browse Certifications and Exams | Microsoft Docs

Steps to scheduling an exam:


1. Select your certification of interest
2. Click on Schedule Exam

3. Complete details in the dashboard
4. Click on Save and Continue
5. Click on Continue
6. Click on Schedule Exam
7. Complete the instructions at the Pearson Vue site

Q. Must I attend all five days to earn an exam voucher?


A. Participants must attend each day of the Security Cloud Week for their registered
training track – either live or recorded – to be eligible to receive an exam voucher. This
offer ends on November 21, 2022, or while supplies last.

Q. Can I earn more than one voucher during this event, if I take another track?
A. The offer is limited to one exam voucher per qualified attendee.

Q. When and how will I receive my Microsoft certification exam voucher?


A. If you have met the eligibility qualifications to receive a Certification exam voucher,
you will receive an email no later than November 25, 2022. This email will give detailed
instructions on how to claim a voucher.

Q. Will everyone who registers receive a free Microsoft certification exam voucher?
A. Offer limited to the first 3,500 attendees who have completed all required Live
Lecture and Exam Prep sessions associated with their specific Technology Track. Limit
one exam certificate per attendee. This offer is non-transferable and cannot be
combined with any other sale, promotion, discount, code, coupon and/or offer. This
offer ends on November 21, 2022, or while supplies last, and is not redeemable for cash.
Taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Microsoft reserves the right to
cancel, change, or suspend this offer at any time without notice.
Government employees (including military and employees of public education
institutions) are not eligible to participate.
Partners in the Enterprise Skills Initiative (ESI) program have exam voucher
entitlements as per their program benefits, therefore, will not be eligible for a
Cloud Week exam voucher
