Good morning everyone.
A very warm welcome to the discussion meeting for the month of
November. I, chaitanya , am your emcee for today. I request you all to please put your mobile phones
on silent mode. Thank you. I now request the new friends, who are attending meeting for first
time to please introduce themselves. Thank you and welcome. For those who are attending their
first BSG meeting, let me tell you a bit about us. We are the members of Bharat Soka Gakkai,
which is a part of Soka Gakkai International. We integrate our Buddhist practice into our daily lives
by chanting Nam Myo Ho Renge Kyo, which literally means that I dedicate my life to the law of
cause and effect. Through chanting, studying Buddhist philosophy and taking action daily for
victory in one’s own life as well as for others we establish a state of absolute happiness for
ourselves, our families and communities.
Our mentor and current President of our organization is Dr. Daisaku Ikeda whom we fondly call
Sensei. He is a peace builder, a prolific writer, poet, educator and founder of a number of cultural,
educational and peace research institutions around the world. He is a staunch proponent of
dialogue as the foundation of peace. Every year on January 26th, Ikeda Sensei submits a peace
proposal to the United Nations.
First of all I thank varnika for making such beautiful banner for today’s meeting. Thank you
varnika.
Now I request Shrinath to share the significance for the month of November with us. Over to you

We sing songs at our meetings to express the joy in our heart. With this spirit, let us sing the

Now I invite the Concept team to share the concept of "the 3 necessities for attaining

Our practice is incomplete without showing actual proof in our daily lives. So, I request
