[iii] Scope of Works:

1. Collect and review all the required information and documents for ETP like water effluent rate and pattern
from process, effluent test report, desired dispose/use of ETP outlet water and solid waste details etc.
2. Sample Collection (if available) and jar test of raw effluent to define the appropriate process and dosing
rate.
3. On the basis of above works; final design and drawing of ETP that includes:
(a) Design Basis and Technical Data
(b) Process Flow and Hydraulic Diagram
(c) Plant Layout drawing for implementation.
(d) Individual Tank’s details architectural drawing for civil structural design for construction.
(e) Electro-mechanical Equipment Layout for Installation.
(f) Piping & Instrumentation Diagram for Effluent, chemical & Air.
(g) Piping Layout for Installation.
4. Provide required document and drawing of ETP for submission to “The Environment Conservation Rules,
1997, Department of Environment (DoE) Bangladesh and meet the technical requirements/queries of DoE,
Bangladesh.
5. Perform following site visit in construction phase:
(a) One site visit for discussing detail project scope and collection of information.
(b) One site visit for discussing submitted design and drawing detail of civil construction.
(c) 3 ~ 5 Site visit for supervision of civil construction as required stages.
(d) 3 ~ 5 Site visit for supervision of Commissioning Works.
6. Provide key process parameter as acceptance guide line of plant performance.
7. Prepare and Provide Operation and Maintenance Manual.
8. Provide training to develop competency of ETP operators and relevant personnel on ETP operation and
process philosophy, data monitoring and troubleshooting, sample collection and emergency response in
case of machine failure or process upset.
9. Supply of all mechanical & electrical equipment as defined in clause [ii].
10. Interconnecting Piping c/w all required valves, instruments, fittings and supports.
11. Interconnecting electrical Cabling within supplied control panel and equipment.
12. Media-Gravel & Sand for Natural Sludge Dry Bed and Clarifier Roughing Filter, as required.
13. Installation of all electro-mechanical equipment, piping and electrical cabling.
14. Plant commissioning with data record.
15. List of documents needed for DoE Approval.

[iv] Exclusions:
1. Supply of any items except mentioned in this offer.
2. Any civil construction design/works.
3. Laboratory facilities including necessary instruments, chemicals, tests & staff.
4. Acid/alkali/chemicals & any other consumables in trail run, testing the system or operations.
5. Test of raw & treated effluent or any other sample.
6. Maintain liaison to achieve approval from DoE, Bangladesh.
7. Day to day supervision of civil construction and/or commissioning works.

[v] Client Scope:

Client will be fully responsible for:
1. Testing of raw and treated effluent as required.
2. Sample of raw effluent for jar test.
3. Soil test report and flood level data of the site. Civil structural design and drawing will be in
client scope.
4. Complete procurement/fabrication/construction of all civil works as per design & drawing
including all required platform for installation of equipment or monitoring of the plant, required
stair/ladder, shed, safety fence, nozzles with flanges, support structure & plate for media, V-
notch, baffle plate, painting etc.
5. Loading and unloading the goods at site.
6. Storage & security of equipment at site.
7. All fresh water connections to the different points of ETP for operation and maintenance.
8. Power supply from main connection to our MCC board.
9. All utility like electricity, light, fan & water required at stages of Plant erection, commissioning
and operation.
10. Maintain work place safety.
11. Provide office arrangement, food and safe working environment for BEDC engineers/personnel
at site.
12. Laboratory facilities including necessary instruments, chemicals, tests & staff.
13. Chemical Storage Facilities.
14. Acid/alkali/chemicals & any other consumables including the first charge.
15. A compatible in-charge and sufficient quantity skilled operator to operate the plant from the
starting date of Commissioning.
16. All statutory clearances & sanctions required for the implementation and approval of the plant.
BEDC would extend necessary technical support in this regard.

[vii] Payment Terms:

1. Advance payment of BDT 5 lac along with purchase order confirmation.
2. Another BDT 5 lac after submission of design drawing & work start at site.
3. Next 6 lac after the delivery of major electro-mechanical equipment/material in good condition at
site.
4. Next 5 lac after successful commissioning of the Plant.
5. Remaining payment after receiving of DoE certificate.
6. Bill will be added at actual price mention in this offer if required any additional item to complete the
process. (valid before project commissioning and handover)

[viii] Completion Time:

1. Complete structural drawing within 14 working days after awarding purchase order.
2. Complete commissioning of the plant within 45 working days from formal notification from MCL
about completion of civil construction.
3. Project Completion time limit is 3 months up to DoE certification which can be extend up to 6
months if there is no board meeting. Maximum time limit for DoE approval is 4 months after
commissioning if board meeting takes place.

[ix] Warranty:
We will provide warranty of our supplied products for trouble free operation. However, we shall
undertake remedy; if any defects detected during warranty period with free of charge (Replacement of
only faulty parts provided by us. Not for any damage caused by mal-operation/handling by client). The
warranty period is twelve calendar months from the date of delivery.

[x] Validity:
Our offer is valid for a period of 60 calendar days from the date of this quotation.
