This is a legend story about a hero or we call it a legend of the great general from Sarranid

Sultanate that until today his name still will not forgoten, this hero named Umar Khalid the
Qonquer.
Umar Khalid born in Qolyut Village at 11 June 1842. He pass His childhood with his umi
Fathimah a food merchant in Qolyut village. Umar Khalid father named Hakim, he is one of
the great general from Sarranid Sultanate. Umar never know his father looks like because his
father go to serve the sultan when he was a kid. When he reach teen age, Umar Khalid
become a teen ager that mostly liked by the villagers because he is kind and also wise and
that what makes his name is popular in Qolyut Village.
One night, Umar Khalid woke up and want to take a tahajud when he saw his umi’s door
room opened and from inside the room heared his umi is criying. For a while Umar wandered
and he put his ears near his umi’s door room and it appears in that room Fathimah is praying.
“Ya Allah, please protect my husband and bring him home savely. Ya Allah, also protect my
son Umar Khalid because he is the only what I have now”
After hear that pray Umar soon take wudhu and perform tahjud, after finish doing tahajud he
start to pray.
“Ya Allah, protect my umi, my abi from all dangerous thing that waiting. I love them like
they love me when I was a kid”
Fathimah come to Umar’s room because she knows that his soon is listened her when she
pray a while ago. Fathimah touch Umar’s shoulders and say
“Umar, why are you crying my son ?”
Suddenly Umar turn his body and hug his umi and say
“Umi, I love you. I love you because Allah”
After hear what his son said, Fathimah smiled with her tears drop
“Umar, I love you too because Allah. Be a sholeh person dan be a useful person for people.
“Yes umi, I promise I will make you proud because I am Umar Khalir bin Hakim. I am the
son of the great general from Sarranid Sultanate”
After that short conversation, Fathimah ordered her son to go sleep again.
3 months later, a messenger from sultan visited Qolyut Village to see Fathimah.
“Assalamualaikum. Are you Fathimah, Jendral Hakim’s wife ?”
“Waalaikumsalam. Yes, I am fathimah”
“The Sultan give this message for you”
“What is this ?”
“I don’t know, I need to go now. Assalamualaikum”
After that messenger leave, Fathimah reads the message.
“Innalillahi wainnaillaihi rojiun, my husband”
Fathimah shocked because that message is telling that her husband General Hakim is killed in
war, at that moment Fathimah can’t hold her tears. Umar who returned from market surpriced
when his mother crying in front of they house.
“Astagfirullah, what happen umi ? Why are you crying ?”
“Your abi Umar, Your abi”
“What happen to abi ?”
“Innalillahi wainnaillaihi rojiun”
“This is not happen, this is not happen”
After heared from his umi, Umar directly go inside his room. Fathimah can’t do anything
when umar go inside his room with his face full with tears.
“Ya Allah, I will revenge my father death” said Umar inside his hearth
Without thinking seriously Umar pack his tools, he will be a soldier to revenge his father
death. Fathimah confused and ask
“Where are you going my son ?”
“ I will be a sultan soldier dan I will revenge father death”
“Dont do that Umar, I am so sad because losing your father and I dont want to loss you too”
Without annoying what his umi said, Umar leave without saying any word. 3 years after he
left Qolyut Village, Umar has become a great leader and known as a man with no mercy to
his enemy. Umar’s leader Sultan Al-Kashim know Umar porpose who join the war just only
to revenge his father death. He ask Umar to see him.
“Assalamualaikum. Are you want to see me ya sultan ?”
“Yes Umar, I want to ask you something”
“What is it ya sultan ?”
“What is your purpose fighting in this war ?”
After asked that question by Sultan Al-Kashim, Umar can’t answer it. Sultan Al-Kashim
know why Umar can’t answer that question so he hug Umar with full of feeling.
”I know you miss your father, so now I will hug you for exchange of your father hug. War in
the name of Allah, and I am sure you father will be proud.
After heared that word Umra drops his tears dan he feels that his spirit has return, spirit as
Umar the son of General Hakim. After that event Umar Succesed qonqueringmany enemy
fortress dan he have a nicknam The Qonquer.
“Only one fortress left, its Praven” said Umar whenn he is inside his war tent
“My brother, we are now facing the last war. Enemy fortress that still stand in our land is
Praven, so we must conquer it and create Sarranid Sultanate total victory all over this land.
For those who join me says Allahu Akbar3x (all troops reply). We will attack Praven
tomorrow morning”
In the next day the siege of Praven Fortress begun, in about 12 hous the fortress fall into
Sarranid Sultanate hand, this is meant that Sarranid succes to qonquer all over the land. After
celebrating the victory, Umar Khalid returned to Qolyut Village because there is one thing
that still stuck inside him. That thing is missing his Umi very much which he left for about 4
years.When he reach the village, the village elder gave him a letter inscribe with “For My
Son Umar ~Fathimah. After read that letter Umar smile and pray.
“ Ya Allah, thank you very much. You have gave me a very kind and lovely Umi. I hope she
will rest in peace. Aamiin”
After left that village, there is no news anymore about Umar Khalid the Qonquer, sultan
servent says that Umar Khalid pass away ini age 55 years.
