I. INTRODUCTION:

Nowadays we have heard about social projects, but in reality you know what it is
based on or what is being worked on, it is for this reason that in this work we will talk
about social projects, how they are developed and how are applied in the population.

To do this, we first have to take into account that it is a project since it is a scheme or
plan of any work that is sometimes done as a test before giving it its final form (RAE,
2019).

Likewise, we understand social to mean everything that affects human beings and also
their living conditions. To do this, the social project must essentially examine what refers to
the basic needs of the individual , which can be health , education , employment and
housing, as well as other types of needs such as dignity , self-esteem , appreciation,
security , consideration, capacity. to find meaning in life and the world around us.

Social Projects seek to solve problems, in order to try to satisfy the basic needs of the
individual. For them there is a certain relationship between fragility and lack and as well
as responsibility for the other and they always try to solve a lack, a need and always
look to the future to try to improve the problem that arises. That is why this essay will
be about social projection and all the steps that an improvement in the community
includes.

II. ARGUMENT:
3
Definition:

When talking about Social Projects, we refer to a series of activities that are
carried out in a specific place and at a specific time, executing actions that seek to
achieve a common objective, but in collaboration with all citizens and using all
resources. necessary (Cano, Migliario & Acosta, 2009).
For the development of these social projects to be executed effectively, a series of
steps must be followed so that our project achieves the stated objectives.

Cycle for developing a project:

- Identification: belongs to the construction of the intervention problem. It is
identified by answering the questions: what is happening? why it happens?
Who does it affect? how affects? How can it be solved?
- Process of constructing a problem: it is carried out through the identification
and demand of needs, prioritizing and locating causes and effects.
- Explanation construction process: we provide a theoretical framework for the
construction of the problem and the reason for it.
- Formulation: in this stage all the information collected during the
identification stage is organized. The formulation of the project components is
carried out: justification, objectives, action plan, etc.
- Execution and Monitoring Stage: the actions are carried out, taking into
account the methodologies and monitoring strategies so that the evaluation of
the development of the social project can be carried out.
- Evaluation Stage: the analysis and assessment of the activities is carried out
executed in a flexible and integrative way; that allows identifying the
achievements achieved.

According to Anonimo (2010) To develop social projects they must be

systematized, that is, a series of facts, objects or ideas, apparently dispersed, must
be prioritized and articulated in order to better understand and interpret them.
Also, a self-critical reflection is carried out. which will help us plan actions in
order to achieve greater quality in our purpose. The social project always has the
clear intention of achieving what it aims for with the greatest efficiency and
quality, to do so it also seeks to carry out a rigorous reflection on the social

problem that it is intended to improve. In the same way, become aware of the
most existing needs and to choose a specific problem that requires a solution and
that in turn considers this as a possible solution, for this we need originality and
creativity in the development of the project that is based on practice and from a
vision of who experiences the problem, how they experience it and what
possibilities they perceive for its solution.

In relation to the type of participation of the various authors in social projection, Claudio
Rama (2008) identifies three axes in social projection experiences:

1. Collaboration with social welfare at the local level: Promotes the training of
professionals with relevance to solving the country's problems.

2. Incorporation of ethics and social work topics into the curriculum: Seeks a curricular
structure not only focused on the development of skills but also on the articulation of
theory and praxis, thus promoting experimentation, simulation and practical work of
future professionals.

3. Participation of students in social action: Requires the active participation of students

and volunteers. In the latter, the social, labor and academic components are articulated
and the students acquire a new role, giving significant differences in their legal and labor
application in different areas.

Principles of a social project

As we have already mentioned before, social projects are an alternative and

attention strategy, but to do so, these projects must be guided by some basic
principles such as :

 Participation: There cannot be a social project in which interested people

do not get involved and are committed for the same reason that in this case
the community would do .
 Equity: The projects are clearly aimed at the less fortunate.
 Co-participation: According to social projects, they tend to be more
affective when they are carried out in a more competitive way with the
public sector.
 Sustainability: Projects must be prepared to guarantee continuity over time
based on their efforts and resources.

5
 Respect for the environment: Whatever the social project to be carried
out, the sources of water, soil, biodiversity, etc. must be taken care of. As
well as respect for cultural diversity due to the pluricultural and multilingual
wealth that society has.
 Evaluable: Through evaluation techniques it will be appreciated how much
there is to change within the well-being of people.

Categories for a social projection

The interaction in social projection

Social interaction is the dynamic exchange of knowledge, in a dialogic sense, between

academic and social agents, with the active involvement of the participants. It enables the
understanding of the senses and meanings of the 40 social scenarios and the subjects involved.
According to ASCUN, Interaction in social projection must present aspects such as continuity,
understood as the permanence of the links between higher education institutions and social
agents; systematicity in the formation of academic and social networks in a communicative
and continuous network; coherence through plans, programs and projects that rationally
structure and organize action; and congruence, opportunity and relevance, in the identification
of purposes, needs and problems, in relation to the academic and social field (ASCUN, 2008

Integration in social projection

Integration is defined as the meeting of agents and stakeholders where they jointly propose
knowledge of the goals of the strategy, value it as significant and highlight integration,
assertive decision-making to resolve the problem and structured plans. execute in the social
projection project

Participation in social projection

Participation implies the recognition of internal and external agents and their responsibilities
and interests towards the community. Participation is essential within the self-diagnosis and
decision-making processes, since it promotes a learning process about their daily work, their
expectations of the community and its functioning.

6
the relevance in social projection

The relevance of Social Projection is evaluated against the social context, through institutional
policies and developments and areas of training and research work that promote social
development.

III. CONCLUSIONS:
 In conclusion, it is defined that Social projection allows establishing a direct
connection with the community by applying knowledge to solve problems, in
order to achieve the stated objectives.

 In relation to the principles of social projection, we consider the participation

of all those involved and the commitment to be an important point since
without them the social projection could not be carried out.

 Finally, to carry out a social projection, the conceptual categories of

integration, interaction, participation and relevance are taken into account.
