This summer break, try and make a difference.
Appreciate Nature- Go for long walks in a park or garden with
your family and friends. Adopt/grow a plant.
Unravel the artist in you- Create a new story, try a new recipe
with your mother, learn a new song, play a new instrument.
Good manners are the key- Respect your parents, grandparents
and all elders.
Stay Fit, Stay Healthy- Play your favourite game/ sport regularly.
Develop in yourself the spirit of sportsmanship and sense of
healthy competition.
Conversation Time- Go for a long walk/drive with your family and
friends. Learn from their experiences. They are a living story book.
Learn from our Heritage- Find some time to visit at least one
museum or a monument. Read about them.
Save Nature- Contribute to save our precious environment.
Minimize the wastage of resources like water, fuel and electricity.

General instructions: -
1. Ensure your holiday homework is neat and tidy.
2. Follow the given instructions for each activity carefully.
3. Read a storybook every day.
4. Learn two new words daily and use them in your conversations.
5. Colour the cover page of your holiday homework.
6. Complete cursive writing up to page 10.
7. Complete pages 24, 25, 76, 79, and 80 in your Practice and
more book.
English
1. Vocabulary Hanging: Cut a big circle on an A3 sheet write a big word on it. For
example, HAPPINESS and illustrate it. Now make as many small words as you can
from the letters of the big word for example pin, spin etc. And write each word on
small decorative cut outs of any shapes from another A4 sheet attach these cut outs
to the big circle using satin ribbon. You can use your creativity to make the vocabulary
hanging attractive.
2. Storytelling with Puppets: Create a simple puppet out of paper bags or socks and
prepare your favourite story.
3. Read any two stories from any of these books.
The Gingerbread Man, Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, The Elves and the Shoemaker,
Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel
Pick out ten new words from these two stories. Make a beautiful pictionary by writing
these words, their meaning and a picture related to the word.

1. MY DREAM FOREST
Let’s put on our creative thinking hats and make a forest of our dreams.
● On an A3 size sheet, use the various geometrical shapes learnt (at least 3) to make
your own beautiful forest scene.
● Using origami, make at least 5 wild animals and paste them in your ‘forest scene’.
2. Create items such as a photo frame, bird feeder, or pen stand using waste materials.
After crafting your items, attach a price tag ranging from Rs. 10 to Rs. 200.
Additionally, create a number sheet on an A3 sheet listing all the price tags as shown
below: -
3. Design a multiplication flower using an A3 sheet. Include multiplication equations on
each petal. Use your creativity to make it vibrant and appealing!
GENERAL AWARENESS
1. Make an eco-friendly paper bag using newspapers. Paste a brown paper on the paper
bag and write a slogan to ‘Save Environment’ on it.
2. Family Tree: Create a simple family tree with pictures or drawings of family members.
Include names and relationships (e.g., mother, father, siblings, grandparents) on an
A3 sheet.
3. Helper Thank You Cards: create thank you cards for different helpers in your
community. Write a message thanking them for their hard work and dedication. Use
an A4 sheet to make the card.
