• MORNING ADHKAR •
Times: 3 Times At The Beginning of The Day.
Transliteration: SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi 'adada
khalqihi wa rida nafsihi wa zinata 'arshihi wa midada
kalimatihi.
Translation: Glory and praise is to Allah, as much as the
number of His creation, as much as pleases Him, as much
as the weight of His Throne and as much as the ink of His
words.
Reward: A highly rewarded dhikr.

Times: Say Only After The Obligatory Prayer of Fajr.
Transliteration: Allahumma inni as'aluka ilman nafian wa
rizqan tayyiban wa amalan mutaqabbalan.
Translation: O Allah, I ask you for beneficial knowledge,
goodly provision and acceptable deeds.
Benefit: When the Prophet ( )ﷺperformed the Subh
(morning prayer - fajr prayer), while he said the Salam,
he would say this.

Transliteration: Allahumma bika asbahna wa bika amsaina
wa bika nahya wa bika namutu wa ilaikal-masiru.
Translation: O Allah, by You we enter the morning, and by
You we enter the evening, and by You we live, and by You
we die, and to You is the Return.
Benefit: The Prophet Muhammad ( )ﷺcommanded to say
this when one reaches the morning.

Transliteration: Allahumma asbahna nushhiduka wa
nushhidu hamalata 'arshika wa mala'ikataka wa jami'a
khalqika bi-annaka Allah, la ilaha illa anta, wahdaka la
sharika laka, wa anna Muhammadan 'abduka wa rasuluka.
Translation: O Allah we have reached morning, calling You
to witness, and calling the carriers of Your Throne to
witness, and Your angels, and all of Your creation, that
You are Allah, none has the right to be worshipped but
You, Alone, without partner, and that Muhammad is Your
slave and Your Messenger.
Reward: Whoever says this in the morning, Allah will
forgive him for whatever he does that day, and if he says
it in the evening, Allah will forgive him for whatever sin
he commits that night.

Transliteration: Asbahna wa asbahal-mulku lillahi wal-
hamdulillahi, la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu,
Lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in
qadirun. Rabbi as’aluka khaira ma fi hadhihil-yawmi wa
khaira ma ba’daha wa a’udhu bika min sharri ma fi
hadhihil-yawmi wa sharri ma ba’daha. Rabbi a’udhu bika
minal-kasali wa su’il-kibari Rabbi a’udhu bika min ‘adhabin
fin-nari wa ‘adhabin fil-qabri.
Translation: We have reached the morning and the
Dominion belongs to Allah, and praise be to Allah, none
has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone with no
partner or associate. His is the dominion, to Him is praise
and He has power over all things. O Allah, I ask You for the
good of this day and the good of what follows it, and I
seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil of
what follows it. O Lord, I seek refuge with You from
laziness and the evil of old age. O Lord, I seek refuge with
You from torment in the Fire and torment in the grave.
Benefit: When morning came, Prophet Muhammad ()ﷺ
would say this.

Transliteration: Raditu billahi Rabban wa bil-islami dinan
wa bi-muhammadin nabiyyan.
Translation: I am content with Allah as my Lord, Islam as
my religion and Muhammad as my Prophet.
Reward: There is no Muslim - or no person, or slave (of
Allah) - who says this in the morning and evening but he
will have a promise from Allah to make him pleased on
the Day of Resurrection.

Transliteration: Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma'as-mihi
shai'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa huwas-sami'ul alim.
Translation: In the Name of Allah with Whose Name
nothing can harm on earth or in heaven, and He is the All-
Hearing, All-Knowing.
Reward: If anyone says this three times in the evening he
will not be stricken with a sudden affliction until
morning comes, and whoever says that when morning
comes, he will not be stricken with a sudden affliction
until evening comes.

Tirmidhi 3388 | Hasan.
Transliteration: Laa ‘ilaha ‘illallahu wahdahu laa shareeka
lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa huwa ‘alaa kulli
shai’in qadeer.
Translation: None has the right to be worshipped except
Allah, alone, without any partner, to Him belong all
sovereignty and praise, and He has power over all things.
Reward: Whoever says this when morning comes, he will
have (a reward) equivalent to that of setting one of the
descendants of Isma’il free from slavery, ten good deeds
will be recorded for him, ten bad deeds will be erased
from (his record), he will be raised ten degrees (in
status), and he will be guarded against the Shaitan until
evening comes. If he says them when evening comes, he
will have something similar, until morning comes.

Reward: Say Surah al-Ikhlas and Al-Mu'awwidhatain
(Surah al-Falaq and Surah an-Nas) – when you reach
evening, and when you reach morning, three times –
they will suffice you against everything.

Transliteration: Allahumma fatiras-samawati wal-ardi,
alimal-ghaibi wash-shahadati, la ilaha illa anta, rabba kuili
shai'in wa malikahu, a'udhu bika min sharri nafsi wa min
sharrish-shaitani wa sharakihi, wa an aqtarifa 'ala nafsi
su'an, aw ajurrahu ila muslimin.
Translation: O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the
earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, there is none
worthy of worship except You, Lord of everything and its
Owner, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul and
from the evil of the shaitan and his shirk, or that I should
do some evil to myself or bring it upon a Muslim.
Benefit: The Prophet Muhammad ( )ﷺtaught this duaa to
Abu Bakr As-Siddiq ( )رضى هللا عنهto say at morning and
evening.

Transliteration: Allahumma inni as ‘alukal-‘afiyata fid-
dunya wal-akhirati. Allahumma inni as’alukal-‘afwa wal-
‘afiyata fi dini wa dunyaya wa ahli wa mali,
Allahummastur 'awrati (awra'ti) wa amin raw'ati,
Allahummahfazni min baini yadayya wa min khalfi wa an
yamini wa an shimali wa min fawqi wa a'udhu bi-
'azamatika an ughtala min tahti.
Translation: O Allah, I ask You for security in this world
and in the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and
security in my religious commitment, my worldly affairs,
my family and my wealth. O Allah conceal my fault (faults)
and keep me safe from the things I fear. O Allah, protect
me from in front and behind, from my right and my left
and from above. I seek refuge in Your might from any
unexpected harm coming from beneath me.
Benefit: The Messenger of Allah ( )ﷺnever failed to say
these supplications, when evening came and when
morning came.

Times: 100 Times In The Morning (and Evening).
Transliteration: Subhan Allahi wa Bihamdihi.
Translation: Glory and praise is to Allah.
Reward: Whoever says this in the morning and in the
evening one hundred times, no one will come on the Day
of Resurrection with anything better than what he has
done, except one who said something like what he said,
or more than that.

Transliteration: Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta
khalaqtani wa ana 'abduka wa ana 'ala 'ahdika wa wa'dika,
mas-tata'tu a'udhu bika min sharri ma sana'tu abu'u laka
bini'matika 'alaiya wa abu'u bidhanbi faghfirli innahu la
yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa anta.
Translation: O Allah, You are my Lord! None has the right
to be worshipped but You. You created me and I am Your
slave, and I am faithful to my covenant and my promise
(to You) as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all
the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the
blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to
You all my sins. So I entreat You to forgive my sins, for
nobody can forgive sins except You.
Reward: This is the most superior way of asking for
forgiveness from Allah. If somebody recites it during the
day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before
the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and
if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and
dies before the morning, he will be from the people of
Paradise. In another hadith it is mentioned that, If
someone says this in the morning, believing in it firmly,
and dies on that day before evening comes, he will enter
Paradise, and if someone says it in the evening, believing
firmly in it, and dies before morning comes, he will enter
Paradise.

IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATION: Recite Ayat al-Kursi
(ayat 255 of Surat al-Baqarah) as well.
Shaykh Ibn Baaz ( )رحمة هللاsaid: “One of the ways to attain
wellbeing and safety is to recite Ayatul Kursi after each
