2024 IN-SERVICE TRAINING FOR K-6 TEACHERS
THEME: Coaching Private Elementary School Teachers in the Implementation of the MATATAG Curriculum
PROGRAM AND SCHEDULE
OBJECTIVES
At the end of the training, the K to 6 teacher-participants from private elementary schools, those teaching in Kindergarten,
Grade 1, and Grade 4 in particular, can:
1. comprehend the MATATAG curriculum vis-à-vis their respective schools’ 2016 K to 10 Curricula,
2. unpack the learning competencies in every subject’s curriculum guide that necessitates unpacking, and
3. develop:
a. an assessment plan using an Assessment Planner,
b. an instruction delivery plan using an Inclusive Instruction Delivery Plan template, and
c. lesson plans for identified quarter topics using the MATATAG Lesson Plan template
to ensure smooth implementation of the MATATAG K to 10 Curriculum in their respective schools.
