Crochet pattern
 A few words to begin with =)

My name is Guzel, I am an author of this pattern.

I do not insist on crediting me by all means when you publish the photos or sell ready-made
toys (though if you do credit, that would be very nice)
Just please do not copy or distribute the pattern, it is intended for the personal use only.

This tutorial contains a detailed pattern of crochet Cute Raspberry (or Blackberry) with bow.
When using similar materials, the toy will be about 11” (together with the legs)
You can crochet a toy from any yarn, only you will need to change eyes pattern (or use plastic
eyes).

To crochet you need:

- plush yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby, Yarnart Dolce or analogues (100% polyester, 100g/120
mt or 3,53 oz/131 yrds):
* MAIN color – raspberry or blackberry color (I use
color №80314) – 2 skeins (a little more than 1 skein);
* GREEN color (I use color №80371 )– 1/4 of skein;
* WHITE and YELLOW colors - quite a bit for bow;
- 4 mm hook / US size G (*see the note below);
- a little black, white and green fine yarn 50 g/200 mt
or 1.76 oz/218 yrds and 2mm hook (for eyes, smile
and lashes);
- fiberfiller;
- scissors;
- stitch markers, needles or pins for fixing parts when
sewing;
- yarn needle (with a blunt end and large eye).

* For beginners I would like to pay attention to the hook size. I came across a wide choice of
hooks in stores, which are marked in the same way but in fact they different in working area
diameter. I use a hook marked as 3.5 mm, but its actual diameter is 4-4.5 mm. Please see the
photo.

The toy is made in spiral rounds.

THE BODY:
The body of the raspberry will be made of individual details, which will then be connected to
each other. You need to crochet the following quantity:
Detail 5В – 10 pieces
Detail 5П – 1 piece
Detail 6В – 17 pieces
Detail 6П – 4 pieces

DETAIL 5В (convex pentahedron, has 5 faces of 3 loops):

Begin with MAIN color yarn with 2 ch. (you can begin with a magic ring but please bear in
mind that is is difficult to tighten a plush magic circle)
Round 1: 6 sc in the 2nd ch from hook (or in magic ring) (6)
Round 2: 6 inc (12)
Round 3: (1 sc, 1 inc)*6 times (18)

Round: (4 sc, 1 dec)*3 times (15) + 1 slst in next loop
Finish crocheting with 1 ch, cut the yarn.

DETAIL 6В (convex hexagon, has 6 faces of 3 loops):

Begin with MAIN color yarn with 2 ch.

THE CONNECTION OF DETAILS:

the back, 5В at the front), as shown in
the picture below;
- using 1 ch, attach the yarn to a pair of
loops (insert the hook through 2
details);
- crochet 3 sc through two layers,
starting from the same pair of loops
where you joined the yarn .
- then attach next DETAIL 6В to DETAIL
5В and connect them with 3 sc;
- connect the other 3 details in the
same way;
- finish crocheting with 1slst in first
loop of the round.

Don`t cut the yarn, proceed to the stage 2.

I recommend hanging a marker on DETAIL 5B so that you don't get confused in the future.
This is the lowest sector of the raspberry.

If you are afraid of getting confused, then before each step, turn the product over and check
the position of the details relative to the lowest detail 5B, marked with a marker. In steps 1,

3, 5, 7 and 9 you should crochet in the round on the details 6* (6В,6П) that are the most
protruding after the stage 2.

- pull up the previously attached DETAIL 6П to the DETAIL 6B, and connect them with 3 sc,
while leaving 3 free loops on it (to connect DETAILS 6П and 5B in STEP 10);
- connect 2 adjacent details 6В and 5В together with 3 sc;
- crochet 1 slst in the nearest loop from the adjacent round;
- finish crocheting with 1ch, cut the yarn.

STEP 10. Close the hole remaining between DETAILS 6П and 5B with 3sc.

STEP 1. Connect each external DETAIL 6B (6П) STAGE 4. STEP 1
with three DETAILS. For this, attach the yarn to
the loop shown in the picture below, and start
crocheting:
- connect 2 adjacent details 6В(6П) and 5В (5П)
together with 3 sc;
- then attach one DETAIL 6В, and make 3 sc;
- connect 2 adjacent details 6В(6П) and 5В (5П)
together with 3 sc;
- crochet 1 slst in the nearest loop from the
adjacent round;
- finish crocheting with 1ch, cut the yarn.

Start STEP 1 from STEP 1

STEP 2. Connect each DETAIL 5В (5П) STAGE 4. STEP 2,3

with adjacent DETAILS 6В. To do this,
turn the body inside out.
Attach the yarn to the loop shown in
the picture below, and start
crocheting:
- pull up the previously attached
DETAIL 6В to the DETAIL 5B (5П), and
connect them with 3 sc;

STEP 3. Connect together all external DETAILS 6B in pairs, except for one pair (to leave a hole
of sufficient size for stuffing):
- attach the yarn to the loop shown in the picture below, and start crocheting: 3 sc, 1 slst.
- finish crocheting with 1ch, cut the yarn.
After connecting all the parts (except one pair), turn the product out on the front side.

Note: At this stage, check all the joints between the details. If the holes at the corners are
very large somewhere, then sew them up with a needle.

STAGE 5. Completion
Stuff the body, carefully filling out each DETAIL.

Using a needle and the same yarn:

- sew the remaining unconnected 2 DETAILS 6B together to a
height of 4 loops;
- attach DETAIL 6П to the hole and sew around the
perimeter of the hole, while adding fiberfiller to the body.

Begin with MAIN COLOR yarn with 2 ch. (you can begin with

the same time, but don’t cut BLACK yarn.

The GREEN part of the eye (the iris):

Round 3: with GREEN color yarn crochet in a circle BLO: 1
slst, 1sc, 1 inchdc, 4 incdc, 1 inchdc, 1 sc, 2 slst.
Finish crocheting with GREEN yarn 1 ch, cut the yarn.

The WHITE part of the eye:

Hook fine WHITE yarn under back half-loop of 3rd green loop. Beginning from the next loop
crochet BLO: 2 sc, 1 inchdc, 4 incdc, 1 inchdc, 2 sc, 1 slst.
Finish crocheting with WHITE yarn 1 ch, cut the yarn.

Then back to the BLACK yarn, hook it under the back half-loop of the black loop and crochet
SLST in the circle, until the circle closes (crochet not tight so that the edge does not curl).

looked continuous), leaving 12” yarn tail for sewing.
Pull up all the extra yarn tails on the back, fasten and cut them.

Similarly, crochet the second eye.

Big glares (make 2):

Begin with fine WHITE yarn with magic ring:
Round 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6) + 1 slst into first loop of the round.
Cut the yarn, leaving 8” yarn tail for sewing.

Position the big glares on both eyes as shown in the picture above – the eyes are turned
inwards with the pupils, and the glares of both eyes is located on the same line in the upper
right part of the iris.
Sew the big glares in this position to the eye, and then using the remaining tails of white
yarn, embroider small glares in the lower left area of the iris (they should also be located on
the same line).

Fasten the excess ends of the yarn to the wrong side.

The eyes are ready.

ASSEMBLY:

1. Sew eyes to the body:

* The face of the toy is on the side where the DETAIL 6П is located (on which you hung the
marker).
Place the eyes as shown in the picture, while the glares should be at the same level. Fix them
with needles or pins. Sew the eye with the left tail yarn. Pick up the eyes is not for the
extreme loop, and under the "pigtail", so as not to spoil the beautiful edge.

2. Sew the stalk to the body:

Place the stalk as shown in the picture – that is, NOT symmetrically relative to the eyes. Sew
it to the head at the points indicated in the picture: along the lines of round 10 and 13, and
at the bases of the leaves. Sew it not tight!

3. Embroider a smile with black fine yarn

Mark 4 points of the smile line and then start embroidering:
Insert the needle anywhere on the chin and then at points 1-2-3-4, then in the opposite
direction – 3-2-1. Then again change the direction and wind the yarn in a spiral to the smile
line. Thanks to this, the smile line will be smoother and clearer. If necessary, you can repeat
the winding in the opposite direction.

4. Sew eyelashes with black fine yarn

Selection the shape

The eyelashes are ready
and location

First, select the shape and location of the eyelashes - for this I apply small pieces of yarn to
the eyes. After selection, embroider the eyelashes (each eyelash should begin in the middle
of the loops of the last row of eyes).

5. Sew hands to the body:

Place the hands as shown in the pictur below. The upper part of the hands should be slightly
above the joining line of the details. Sew only the upper edge of the hand.

5. Sew the legs to the body:
Choose a leg position so that the toy can sit. Sew the legs only by the upper edge.

Your Raspberry is ready!

If you want, you can crochet
a bow for for decoration.

THE BOW

Make 9 ch with WHITE color yarn, close it in a circle with 1

slst in first loop and make 1 ch.
Next, crochet into the center of the ring (not into the loops):
(1 sc, 4 ch, tr3tog, 4 ch)*repeat 4 times, 1 slst into first loop
of the round.

Finish crocheting with 1 ch, cut the yarn leaving 2” tail.

Tie the tails of yarn into a knot together, wrapping it around
the middle of the bow.

Then wrap the yellow yarn around the middle of the bow about 10 times (at first, leave a tail
of yarn about 4"). Tie both tails of yarn together on the wrong side and sew to the toy.

Now your Raspberry
