Installation Instructions

relocates stock footpegs


1” Up & 3/4” Back

Fitment Specifications:
Kawasaki Ninja ex500
Generation II
(1994 - 2007)
Left (Shift) Side Installation
Tools Required: 12mm socket, 1/2” Socket, 3/16” Allen Wrench, Loctite (Medium Strength)
Time Required: 15 Minutes

Instructions: Remove Footpeg Bracket, keeping bolts handy


Test-fit all pieces (using diagram below)
Apply loctite to all bolts & screws for final assembly

++ Stock upper bracket bolt


- 20mm long secure Bracket to
- 12mm head new rearset using
bracket’s Upper
++ Lock-Washer mount point
++ small (flat) Washer

++ New Flat Head Screw


- 25mm long secure to frame where
- 3/16” Allen head the upper bracket bolt
was removed

++ Stock Lower bracket bolt


secure Bracket to
- 20mm long
new rearset using
- 12mm head
bracket’s lower
mount point
Front of bike

++ NEW Long bolt


secure to frame where
- 25mm long
the lower bracket bolt
- 1/2” head
was removed

++ small (flat) Washer


Right (Brake) Side Installation
Tools Required: 12mm socket*, 1/2” Socket*, 3/16” Allen Wrench, Loctite (Medium Strength)
Time Required: 15 Minutes *Use deep sockets
or remove footpeg
Instructions: Remove Footpeg Bracket, keeping bolts handy for clearance
Test-fit all pieces (using diagram below)
Apply loctite to all bolts & screws for final assembly

++ New Long bolt


- 25mm long secure Bracket to new rearset
- 1/2” head using bracket’s Upper mount
point
++ Lock-Washer
** NOTE ** add two spacer
++ small (flat) Washer washers between bracket
++ 2 Spacer washers and rearset (there is a gap)

++ New Flat Head Screw


- 25mm long secure to frame where
- 3/16” Allen head the upper bracket bolt
was removed

++ Stock Lower bracket bolt


secure Bracket to
- 20mm long
new rearset using
- 12mm head
bracket’s lower
mount point
Front of bike

++ New Long bolt


secure to frame where the lower bracket
- 25mm long
bolt was removed
- 1/2” head
** NOTE ** add two spacer washers between Rearset
++ small (flat) Washer and Frame (there is a gap)
++ 2 Spacer washers
(between bracket & Frame)
