Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspecting workplace condition to establish procedures and policies to overcome
those hazardous situations.
Conduct induction training and TBT for the workers before starting their job.
Check the work permits and acknowledge the employees about possible and
potential hazards of specific work.
Prepared Construction Environmental Social Management Plan (CESMP).
Monitor, supervise, follow up and record fire extinguishers, firefighting hoses and
any other firefighting equipment’s validity, availability, maintenance and follow up
getting back safe and normal condition for use.
Provide the needed assistance for implementing personal safe equipment within
the Job Nature requirements; air muffles, protective suits, safety helmet, glasses,
air plugs, safety shoes and as recommended by Safety Management System.
Make the observations report on daily bases and took the necessary actions to
eliminate the hazardous materials and stop dangerous activities.
Responsible for monitoring and enforcing health and hygiene legislation to keep
the environment clean.
If an accident occurs, investigate to identify the root causes and try to gather the
evidence necessary to define the reason for the accident.
Carried out safe system of work and communicate with the workers in proper
training sessions and conduct field toolbox talks on daily and weekly basis.
Safe operation of hand tools and safe handling, storage and transportation of
hazardous chemicals.
