Racism

Discrimination in society has always been present for many years, and this includes
racism which is a very serious thing that needs to be solved because it seems like it will
never stop and will keep continuing. If racism keeps on continuing this can lead to Bias,
Social Detachment, and Violence.

Biases are one of the effects of racism because of discriminatory or racial beliefs of that
specific race and that creates a prejudiced attitude toward a race and trying to avoid or act
differently with them can lead to an untrusted understanding of each other, this can also
lead to bullying and hatred. Inequality is also included because sometimes there is an
unequal treatment based on race and this means unequal distribution of resources,
power, and privilege among racial groups which makes it hard for those races who are
being discriminated against to have equal treatment as others an example of this is them
trying to get a job but it's hard for them to get one when they’re are being discriminated and
ending up not getting the job.

Social Detachment divides groups of different races because of mistrust, fear, and little
understanding between races because of, and this leads to isolation, loneliness, sadness,
anxiety, and a lack of social interaction among races. This is also because of lack of
representation towards a racial group whether they’re mispresented in media, education,
or society or not presented enough for society to recognize and understand them.

Racism sometimes leads to violence because of misunderstanding and hatred this

provokes individuals or groups to commit hate crimes against other races which can lead
to fights, vandalism, and even acts of terrorism. These acts can cause serious damage to a
person which is physical harm, ranging from minor injuries to severe trauma or even death.

In conclusion, the continuing discrimination towards racism is a serious issue that needs

more attention and resolution. The discrimination and limited privilege, division of racial
groups because of hatred and fear, and the continuing violence of racism need to be
stopped and resolved for us to have a unity, safe, and peaceful society. Only through
collective action can we strive towards a future where all individuals are treated equitably,
and violence based on race is eradicated.
