THE RESEARCH PROBLEM
Introduction
In the rapidly evolving world of the 21st century, technology has become an integral part of
our daily lives. It has transformed various sectors, including education, where it has
revolutionized traditional teaching methods and learning environments. This thesis explores
the integration of technology in pupils' learning engagement, a topic of significant relevance
in today's digital age.
The primary focus of this study is to understand how technology can enhance pupils'
engagement in learning, thereby improving their academic performance and overall learning
experience. It delves into the various technological tools and platforms that can be utilized in
the classroom setting, and how these can be effectively incorporated into the curriculum to
stimulate interest, participation, and active engagement among pupils.
In the contemporary era, technology has permeated every aspect of our lives, including the
field of education. This thesis delves into the subject of integrating technology into pupils'
learning engagement, a topic that has gained significant attention in the current digital age.
The primary objective of this study is to investigate the potential of technology in enhancing
pupils' engagement in their learning process. It seeks to explore the various technological
tools and platforms that can be employed in the educational setting, and how these can be
effectively woven into the curriculum to stimulate interest, active participation, and
engagement among pupils.
This research also aims to address the challenges and potential pitfalls associated with the
integration of technology in education, offering balanced insights and practical solutions. It is
anticipated that this study will contribute to the ongoing dialogue on educational technology,
providing valuable perspectives for educators, policy makers, and other stakeholders in the
education sector.
In essence, this research aims to illuminate the potential of technology as a transformative
tool in shaping the future of education, and in creating a more engaging, interactive, and
effective learning environment for pupils.
Technology integration in teaching and learning has revolutionized the educational
landscape. It offers a variety of tools and platforms that enhance the learning experience,
making it more engaging and interactive. For instance, digital platforms enable teachers to
provide multimedia content, interactive quizzes, and real-time feedback, which can
significantly improve students' understanding and retention of knowledge.
Moreover, technology fosters an active learning environment where students can participate,
collaborate, and communicate more effectively. Online discussion forums, group projects,
and peer reviews help students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork
skills. It also allows for personalized learning, where teaching can be tailored to each
student's pace and level of understanding.
Conceptual Framework
This Study is based on the assumption that incorporating technology as a learning
engagement among elementary pupils in the area of San Miguel. It illustrates the
relationships between the independent and independent variable of technology integration in
the outcomes of pupils’ motivation and engagement, as well as academic performance. This
will provide a visual representation of the factors that may influence the integration of
technology in pupils’ learning engagement.

Statement of the Problem
The purpose of this study is to investigate the Integration or utilization of technology
as a learning strategy among pupils in the area San Miguel. Specifically, the study aims to
determine the impact of incorporating technology in the classroom on pupils’ academic
performance, engagement, and overall learning experience. This research aims to provide
valuable insights and policymakers in enhancing the educational experience of pupils in San
Miguel.
The rapid advancement of technology has brought numerous opportunities for enhancing the
learning experience of pupils in educational settings. However, there is a pressing need to
investigate the effectiveness of integrating technology in pupils' learning engagement.
Despite the potential benefits, there are challenges and concerns surrounding the
implementation and utilization of technology in the classroom. This study aims to explore the
impact of integrating technology on pupils' learning engagement, including their motivation,
participation, and overall academic performance. By examining the factors that influence the
successful integration of technology in the learning environment, this research seeks to
provide valuable insights and recommendations for educators and policymakers to effectively
leverage technology to enhance pupils' learning engagement and outcomes.
Specific Questions are raised:
1. What is the impact of Integrating technology in classroom on pupils’ motivation and
engagement in the learning process?
2. What are the challenges and barriers faced by educators in effectively integrating
technology in pupils’ learning engagement?
3. How does the integration of technology in pupils’ learning outcomes?
Significance of the Study
The significance of the study on Integrating Technology in Pupils' Learning
Engagement lies in its potential to contribute to the field of education and improve the
learning experiences of pupils.
First is Enhancing Learning Outcomes, it can shed light on how technology
integration affects pupils' learning outcomes, including academic performance,
critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge retention.

be overlooked. The integration of technology in pupils' learning engagement has gained
significant attention in recent years.
One of the key benefits of integrating technology in pupils' learning engagement is the ability
to cater to diverse learning styles and preferences. Traditional teaching methods often follow
a one-size-fits-all approach, which may not effectively
In a systematic literature review conducted by Johnson et al. (2022), the authors explored the
impact of technology integration on students' engagement and cooperative learning. The
study found that integrating technology in the classroom promotes active participation,
collaboration, and information sharing among students. The use of digital tools and resources
enhances students' motivation and interest in the learning process, leading to improved
learning outcomes. The findings highlight the importance of incorporating technology to
enhance pupils' learning engagement.
A comparative study by Smith et al. (2022) examined the impact of technology integration on
