1 Walk Test
1. Turn the key, press F3 and
enter your User ID and
Passcode.

2. Select 7 – Service

3. Select 1 – Walk Test

Note: A Walk Test is used to


test devices without causing the
sounders/bells or other outputs
to be operated.

4. Use F3 (-) and F4 (+) to


change the highlighted field
and F2 (>>) to tab forward to
the next field.

5. In this example, all inputs in


Zone 006 on Loop A have
been selected.

Select Part in the Multi-


sensor field to only test one
part (e.g. smoke OR heat) or
Full to test both the smoke
and heat sensors of
combined smoke/heat type
detectors.

6. Press F5 – Start

Note: The selected devices can


now be tested. The red LED will
remain steady on all devices
successfully tested and a count
will be kept by the control panel
as shown here.

7.1 Walk Test

7. To do an AUTOMATIC
WALK TEST, select YES in
the Automatic field at step 4
above then F5 – Start.

Note: This will test all detectors


that are supported by Automatic
Walk Test mode. This does not
currently include Callpoints or
Flame Detectors.

8. To view a list of Points


Untested or Failed go back
to the Main Menu and select
6 – View/Print Data

9. Then select 2 – Pts


Unt./Failed.

10. When the test is compete


press F5 – End.

Note: The test can not be ended


if there are any devices still
Currently Active, shown as
Curr.Active on the bottom line.
