ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
After 2 years of Home Gardening Program, we now came again to the real workplace for
this year's Summer Job. It means that this program shows flexibility, adaptability and resiliency
like us, SPES babies. In today's rapidly changing world, being flexible, adaptable and resilient is
crucial. These traits are able to navigate transitions and challenges that occur in our personal
and professional settings. Also, we are all able to bounce back from reversals and overcome
hindrances. And, be available to discovering fresh things and developing our skills and
knowledge.
So, our Summer Job 2023 started with a briefing last August 3, 2023 at PESO Albay.
Followed by an orientation last June 30, 2023 at Albay Astrodome, Legazpi City. Our orientation
talked about many changes for our employment including the work setting, the pre and post
requirements and the important dates for our papers. After our orientation, we lined up to get
the letter to be submitted to our respective barangay. August 3, 2023 is the first day of our
Summer Job and will last up until August 25, 2023. The first week of my deployment was easy
and productive because I and my co-SPES babies are tasked to make "tarpapel", put designs in
the calendar of activities, cleaned the other areas of our barangay hall, roamed around our
barangay to find the specific persons to sign a paper, attended a seminar on VAW and distributed
their snacks. Second week (July 10-14, 2023) was also effective because I am assigned to
entertain the residents who get different papers like Barangay Clearance, Indigency, Certification
and many more. And, also let the visitors to signed in the Visitor's Logbook. Then, the 3rd week
came, the tasks that I did for this week are helping out the residents to attend to their queries,
letting the Brgy. Officials to signed many papers, and distributed snacks to attendees of Mother's
Class seminar that took place in our Brgy. Pavement. Lastly, our last week (July 24-28,2023)
transpired and this is the busiest week of them all. Because the things that I did are going to
Legazpi City Hall to ask for some concern, photocopied many documents, bought ream bond
outside, accompanied our Brgy. Captain to attend an awarding ceremony for Children's Congress,
bought some snacks, let the visitors signed the Visitor's Logbook, and helped the staff to cut out
papers for Awarding Ceremony of our Summer Sportsfest.
It's indeed another productive Summer Job for us SPES babies, especially to me because I again
experienced to be at the real workplace. The knowledge has prepared me to be more
acquainted and to deal with the challenges of a real-world setting.
