Project Charter

Project Title – Start & Close of an Open Cast Coal Mine

Project Description – The project aimed at starting an Open Cast Coal Mine in Mozambique (Africa), extracting
transporting Coal to clients & closing the mine at the end of the Mine’s Life

Project Objectives – To acquire a mining lease of an open cast mine in Mozambique


To start, run, & close of the mine by using optimum resources
To reduce the carbon footprint of the mining company Vulcan

Assumptions – R & D has already been done and the project area is finalized
Geological Modelling shows the mineable quantity of 500 Million Tonnes of Coal
Equipment have already been purchased and support facilities are in place
Financial resources have already been processed
All government approvals are already in place
