WELCOME TO EMBRACE
Embrace is a student-led showcase, celebrating black
artists and culture. All the money raised will be donated to
Action Aid, a charity which aims to help children and women
have essentials such as drinking water, food and access to
education.
They have programs to help:
protect women and girls from violence
protect women's economic rights
providing aid to women and children in humanitarian
countries.
They run schemes in several African-Caribbean countries, as
well as all over the world.
‘Embrace’ has been a long standing HBS tradition for nearly
two decades and this year members of the sixth form
worked hard to put together a show. Not only does Embrace
provide an opportunity to celebrate black artists and
culture, but it gives the HBS community a chance to come
together and build connections and confidence through
performance.
