The purpose of this document is to describe the process of creating a routing. It


assumes you have already developed your departments and assigned your
resources. From the BOM responsibility, open the routing form.

Input the top level BOM item number and tab down to the operations section.
Input the department where the resources are located. Go to the Description tab.
Input the description of the operation step.

Now press the Operation Resources button. The form below will appear.

Input the Resource


name, the basis
(whether it is lot or
item dependent)
and the rate or
usage amount. In
the example, the
resource can
produce 4 units per
hour or one every
15 minutes.

Save your work.


This completes the
routing creation
process.
