There are four major domains of the Earth- Lithosphere, Atmosphere, Hydrosphere and
Biosphere. The solid portion of the earth is called Lithosphere. The large land masses are
known as continents. All continents lie in lithosphere.
There are seven continents. Asia is the largest continent and Australia is the smallest
continent. Australia is called an island continent. The part of the earth which is covered with
water is called Hydrosphere - The Pacific Ocean, The Atlantic Ocean, The Indian Ocean, The
Southern Ocean and The Arctic Ocean. The Pacific Ocean is the largest ocean.
The earth is surrounded by a layer of gases called the atmosphere. There are five layers in the
atmosphere. The Biosphere is the narrow zone of contact between the land, water and air.

बंदर और खरगोश एक जंगल में रहते थे। वे बहुत अच्छे दोस्त थे और साथ-साथ खेलते रहते थे। एक दिन उन
दोनों ने नदी के पास जाकर खेलने की योजना बनाई। उन्होंने पास की एक नदी के पास मज़े करने की सोची। वे
दोनों नदी के किनारे पहुँचे और मज़े करने लगे।

खेलते खेलते बंदर एक पेड़ पर चढ़ गया और खरगोश नदी के किनारे बैठा गया। बंदर ने खरगोश को ऊपर से देखा
और बोला, “तुम क्यों नहीं नहा रहे हो ? नदी में तैरना तो बहुत मज़ेदार होता है।” खरगोश ने मुँह बनाते हुए कहा,
“मैं तैरना नहीं जानता। मुझे पानी में जाना पसंद नहीं है।”

इसके बाद, बंदर ने खरगोश को नदी में तैरने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया। खरगोश ने घबराकर कहा, “क्या तम्हे लगता
है मुझे पानी में जाना चाहिए।? मुझे डर लग रहा है।” बंदर ने खरगोश को शान्त करने की कोशिश की और कहा,
“जब तुम कोई नया काम सीखने के लिए तैयार हो, थोड़ा सोचो और आगे बढ़ो। घबराओ मत।” खरगोश ने सोचा
और फिर बंदर की बात मान ली।

खरगोश ने नदी में तैरना सीख लिया और वह बंदर के साथ बहुत मज़े करने लगा। वे दोनों बहुत खुश थे क्योंकि
खरगोश नया कौशल को सीखने के लिए तैयार था और उन्होंने एक-दूसरे का साथ दिया।

Project 1 - SAVE ENVIRONMENT!!

Make your own handmade sheet by recycling old newspaper.

Material Required:

Old newspaper, water, a container, mixer, two plastic sheets, water colour and a roller

pin.

Procedure:

*Tear up your scrap paper into small (about one-inch) pieces and soak it in warm water in a

container.

*After 2-3 days, take out the paper bits and blend it in blender or mixer to make smooth

pulp.

*Add water colour in it of your own choice for colourful sheet.

*Drain extra water from the pulp using strainer.

*Place the plastic sheet on a flat surface

*Pour your pulp mixture on it and spread the pulp well. Now, cover it with another plastic

sheet

*Take a roller pin and roll over it until it is thin like a chapatti.

*Remove the above sheet and keep it to dry.

*Do not disturb the paper until it is totally dry.

*Your handmade sheet is ready. You can make cards, paper bags etc.
Project 2
Showing your creativity, depict different weather conditions like cloudy,
windy , sunny, rainy,etc. (Refer below pictures or use your own creativity)

Subject – Computer

Make a collage on “Input and Output device.” Collect the picture form
magazines, newspapers, or Internet with the help of Parents.

Describe it in 5 minute Video - Students make 5-minute video to describe

any one of their interesting days in a vacation.
