and Part II of the movie of "The Odyssey" is the "Arriving at the

and archeological site in present-day Turkey, is most known for being
the backdrop of Homer's epic poems, the "Odyssey" and the "Iliad,"
which tell the story of the Trojan War.
Summary of the story:
His son Telemachus was born at the beginning of the film. Odysseus
went to Troy to fight, and Achilles killed Hector. However, Paris exacted
revenge on his brother Hector by killing Achilles. Odyssey then planned
to build them a wooden horse which they could ride inside it. King
Priam believed that Odysseus had surrendered because they had
created a wooden horse, which stood for their loss in the war, but they
were unaware that the battle that night would be brutal. Following that,
Poseidon cursed him, saying he would never be able to go back to
Ithaca. They were sailing across the ocean as they encountered fog,
which caused them to dock on an island where the residents were
cyclops. Before they could depart, two of their crew members perished.
Once more sailing, they soon came across the island. Odysseus was
going to take water from the waterfall, but he steered clear of it as
though someone was in charge of it. Suddenly, a voice spoke from
inside the waterfall, and Odysseus went inside to see a man identified
as Aeolus, the God of Wind. Aeolus assisted Odysseus in returning
home, but advised him not to open the wind sack until he reached his
destination. Odysseus quickly returned to the ship and departed the
island. They have seen the Ithaca, but they are curious as to what
Odysseus brought from Aeolus. They decided to open it, despite an
advice from one of their crew members not to, and when they did, a
powerful storm struck and the ship they were on was going to be
destroyed by the typhoon. Instead of returning home, they went to
another island, where they were unaware that it was a witches' island
and that Odyssey's other crew members had turned into animals.
Odyssey brought it back, but he thought it was only for five days, but
five years had passed outside of Circe's palace. Odysseus mother

Analysis of the plot elements (rising action, climax):
The story's rising action is when Alcinous gives Odysseus the best boat
and food he has so that they can sail away to return home. The climax of
the story happens when Odysseus finally lands in Ithaca.
Creative elements (dialogues, characters, use of colors,
camera techniques, mood, tone, symbols, costumes or
anything that contributes or takes away from the overall
plot):
Dialogues:
The dialogues that hit me is Poseidon’s line because he said “My goal is
not to kill you. You must understand” and “That without the gods, man
is nothing”
Use of colors:
Saturation Triadic
Analogous High Key Saturated
Moody Bleach Bypass
Charaters:
Odysseus Poseidon Polyphemus
Telemachus Antiquia Aeolus
Penelope Achilles Hermis
Athena Paris Tiresias
Calypso Hector Alcinous
Circe King Priam
Mood:
I was happy in the beginning because Telemachus was born, and I was
excited because Odysseus going to a war with troy and the following
scene, I was shock because there so many happening in the movie.
Tone:
The tone of The Odyssey shifts as Odysseus approaches the goal of his
search, from sad and gloomy to joyful and happy. The novel opens in a
dismal mood, with Telemachus and Penelope losing hope that they will
ever see Odysseus again and things with the suitors getting worse.
Symbols:
The Bow of Odysseus:
The bow primarily represents the king's physical prowess, which is
significant in a world where the powerful rule.
The sea:
A recurrent symbol in the epic is the sea itself. It is the sea of life, as it
were. It symbolizes the triumphs and tragedies of a great man's life
journey.
Ithaca:
Home is symbolized by the island of Ithaca. There, Odysseus can spend
his life with his cherished wife and kid, feast on cuisine from his youth,
and even sleep on the bed he constructed. Ithaca represents the
destination of the legendary walk and the finish of the journey. But it
doesn't come without a struggle.
Costumes:
Their costumes are inspired on Greek mythology and ancient Greek that
made out of natural fibers.
Opinion (supported with examples and facts from the
story):
This movie, in my opinion, is excellent because it teaches us many
lessons. For example, it shows us how Odysseus became a strong man
who can overcome any obstacle. Other facts from the story that I found
impressive are what Poseidon said. "My goal is not to kill you. You must
understand" and "That without the gods, man is nothing"
Conclusion (announcing whether the filmmaker was
successful in his/her purpose, re-state your evidence,
explain how the motion picture was helpful for
providing a deeper understand of course topic):
The filmmaker is Andrei Konchalovsky and he was successful for doing
this film because many people love this movie and there so many you
can learn from this film and the motion picture is not that bad because
they execute in good motion and CGI is good for to understand the
movie. In conclusion this was a very good movie because there so many
