A word processor is a software that is used to edit, modify and
or print a document. Word processing refers to the act of using
a computer to create, edit, save, and print documents.
Advantages of using a word processor Microsoft compared to
a typewriter:

Include text images and other objects in a document.
You can save the document.
You can correct a mistake without rewriting the entire
document.
You can use multiple columns.
