Introduction
QR code are 2D barcodes scanned by smartphones for
quick access to website, text, or information. They’re used
in marketing, payment, etc. Qr code are very fast and
conveniences so people tend to use it more often. They
can store up to 7,089 characters. Moreover, they are
developed in Japan in the 1990s they’ve become popular
world wide after they published it.
History
QR codes were created in 1994 by denso
wave. They gained popularity in Japan for
inventory management and become very
common with the rise of smartphones for
linking physical objects to digital content.
Masahiro Hara from the japanese company
Denso wave developed the payment Qr
code, which was invented in 2011 March.
Nowadays, they're used globally for many
things such as payments, ads, and even
information sharing.
A QR code works by encoding information like a website link or text into a pattern
of black squares on a white background. When scanned with a smartphone, the
code quickly reveals its message, such as opening a webpage, displaying text, or
sharing contact information. Each square holds data that gets decoded, making
tasks liek payments, website links, and storing information simple and quick.
