Assignment 3: Reflective essay.

Time management
Progress
By effectively managing my time allowed me to accomplish more work in less time and
also organize to prioritize my tasks, it helped me to manage my day to day life with
academic assignments on time. Before I start this course this is the area I would say that
I need more improvement on .Getting notes and all the resources relevant for my
assignments and break them down , schedule them each part when to get it done that’s
made my work bit easy to complete and work along the way. I maintained a calendar to
classify all my deadline date for assignments and family commitments it supported me to
manage my time and stay on track with my studies.

I managed to have a quality of time to be spent on my studies and as well as with family
by creating calendar and also got a great opportunity to construct my learning and
knowledge through social interactions between experts like eLearning Advisor (eLA)
and the feedback what I receive after every assignments .Constructive feedback, helped
me to accommodate new knowledge. (McDonald, 2020) via supportive resources were
available on the padlet , using bucket of rocks theory in time management helped me to
prioritize all my tasks and also the amount of time that needs to be spent on all the

(Mancini 2003) time management plays a great importance in person’s life in order to
ensure the causes of success or failure.

Reflection
I’m learning more conscious process. It is making me to be a better student by examining
myself and as well as thinking deeply about my own thoughts and also its letting me to
understand the mistakes I have done and how can I mend my ways next time. It’s a great
way to examine myself with the questions its been asked in the last page of every
modules that’s help me to do revision of what I learned, if I could not answer those
questions. I will go back to the modules and recall my memory it’s reflective on my
practice deeper and critical thinking. but now I feel more confident and comfortable

I have not had any confident before particularly with my first assignment I thought I
would not be able to submit any assignment I’m going to struggle but as I keep working
on it through all the submission of assignments I feel confident about my learning
abilities and will perform good in assessments. I’m very interested to watch all the padlet
video and being positive all the time, with all the help of my eLa I knew how to use the
information efficiently to benefit academic assignments and quiz..

The experiences that contributed to your level of progress
Since I have confidence in my abilities, that help me to have a positive approach about
my learning and also the resources needs to be learned. Its helping me to gain academic
achievement as well as preparing myself to face new challenge, as I have the
opportunity to involve myself to read through the discussion box and watch the
collaboration session helping me to improve my knowledge and critical thinking.
According to (Bandura 1991) theory refers that the good role modelling will reflect on
better behaviour , having a positive approach and moral standards of own experience will
result on own activities.

Reflection
With my past experience I had no clue about how to find the resources and I had no
beliefs in myself. I was embarrassing to make mistake , now I have learned that making a
mistake is part of learning process from week 1 to week 4 finally I found myself
developing, this unit taught me that being on consistency, hard work and effort are the 3
essential things and key factors for success If I fail in any of them will make me struggle
to accomplish what I want to achieve . Everyday practice help me to gain more beliefs
and confidence , through this units my attitudes, behaviours, and actions had been
changed to be further professional. (Chomsky, 1955 p. 113) (Chomsky, 1955 p. 114)
refers that combination of social and cognitive elements of process takes place a mere
behavioural input within the limits of our natural capabilities.

3 .Learning and communicating online


Progress
My learning progress through the Learning and Communicating online unit had widely
opened to expand on my knowledge of theories and practice with online atmosphere,
I was very nervous at the begin of this course by the prospects I had for myself due to
poor time management, and moderate learning and communication skills and I got 30%
rating , now this unit wide-openly develop my strengths via accessing portal ,various
resources and library working through this I have achieved 6/7.5 score for recent quiz. I
was overwhelmed and happy.

The experiences that contributed to your level of progress


Reading through the discussion box via online to academic ideas and experiences
allowed me become an effective communicator (Fellowes and Oakley’s, 2014).
Computational philosophy and media knowledge contribute to build social network.
(Fidler and Gorbis, 2011).looking into weekly checklists help me to manage my time
breaking down information relevant or this unit that I can work through it.

Reflection
This unit been a very essential support as it widely opened my eyes to the areas of
proficiency improvement and also able to understand the impotency of the role holds for
present and future. I make sure that I involve myself to weekly collaboration session to
improve my knowledge. Engaging in social constructivism improvises values and
perspectives d the individual (McDonald 2010).

4 Towards achieving a specific unit goal
Progress
At the start I was having so many issues with my professional academic writing , it just
sounded very basic .Now As I keep on working with this unit I would say that my
academic writing had slowly improved . I’m focusing more to work on literature writing
and professional speaking and I’m so keen to read my teachers feedback and the
documentation. Towards this unit I got to know what are the reflection models (Describe,
Interpret, Evaluate and Plan) reflection models. I’m getting to know about all the theory
that are relevant for the context of studies.

The experiences that contributed to your level of progress


My unit goals were to improve my knowledge and get to know and familiarise with all
the teaching ethics with this unit. I used to think that communication is very easy im
capable of until I joined this online course. Now I realize that how hard I need to work
to improve my academic writing and so on. I always make a tremendous effort to
ensure I’m participating weekly modules and discussion board to read through to
improve my social constructivism and virtual collaboration skills (McDonald 2010). It
has helped me long way to build a deeper understanding. According to Vygotsky's social
constructivism theory, intellectual abilities are expanded via social guidance and
construction. (Social Constructivist,2022)

Reflection
My unit goals were to improve literacy and communication skills. As I kept working
hard I could able to see my progress , it reflected on my outcome and am slowly
progressing along with my knowledge. Now I realize I need to contribute to group
discussions more often because I never joined any collaboration session but I watched
them after, discussion board gives a very wide range of information via online
environment as everyone shares their thought (Robutti et al, 2016, pg, 652). However I
still have a long way to go to build my confident and improve my skills .

Through this course I have found that becoming aware of so many different learning
theories and learning process how to manage time for studies and assignments and I

I be certain of that all the subjects that are given in the modules throughout this course
had helped me to gain more information and knowledge , by breaking down the key
terms and axioms to construct the knowledge and keep on learning furthermore by
engaging with other sources available. Wikipedia research been an tremendous outcome
to understand more effectively about the modules and theory.
This course discovered my ability to use digital technologies When I first started had no
idea about studiosity, academic practice this is something I learned very newly.

Reflection
This course helped me to Identify about spoken and unspoken message, I understand
how to apply the 7cs of communication, this course had helped me to identify what my
strengths and weaknesses by converting my thoughts into writing not only that it has
actually helped me support to improve my academic thinking, writing and how to
effectively manage my time . social interaction, digital literacy, and communication
skills had though me to implement these lessons to become more confident and
focusing on my professional career.
