One of the goals of the K-12 Basin Education Curriculum is holistic human development. The grade 12
students of Ruben E. Ecleo Sr. National High School under the HUMSS strand are taking up
Community Engagement Solidarity and Citizenship. It focuses on the application of initiatives such
community engagement, solidarity, and citizenship as guided by the core values of human rights, social
justice, empowerment and advocacy, gender equality and the participatory development.
Hence, this letter intends to ask the permission of your good office allow us to conduct a competition
about “Show your unique and amazing product” at Ruben E. Ecleo Sr. National High School on
December. The goal of the said activity is to enhance students sense of shared identity and willingness
to contribute to the pursuit of the common good of the community and to integrated applied social
sciences into community-action initiatives.
