1.

In some countries, young people are encouraged to work or travel for a year between finishing high school and starting
university studies. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages for young people who decide to do this.

It is a matter of common knowledge, that every country in the world has its education system. Some country gives youngsters
authority and free will to take a gap year, before they ascend to a new level of life and started studying at the university, this way
they motivate the young generation to travel or work, for their own benefit.

To commence, when it comes to choosing the subject students want to learn, depending on the job they wished to do, that's why it
is one of the vital decision people should make during their life. Thus a lot of students struggle to find out how they want to be
occupied the rest of their life since they don"t have enough knowledge or experience. Undoubtedly, working can help young
people to curb such problems and confusion, facing difficulties and problems, independently will show teenagers true image of
life, first and foremost they will acknowledge that financial stability is not easy to be achieved and will learn the value of money.
The workplace gives an opportunity of meeting new people, even unpleasant ones, but it is the best way to get used to building
healthy relationships. Furthermore, travelling is always connected to good feelings it is a solution for facilitating mental and
physical health and reducing stress and anxiety levels, which is beneficial for every human, especially for young people who seek
answers before applying to the new stage of their life.

On the other hand, travelling is connected to unnecessary expenses, besides it can be dangerous and risky for a young person,
while work may become a distraction for teenagers studying. it can easily be replaced by other useful activities like attending
lectures or learning a foreign language.

In conclusion, while youngsters can learn the value of money and enhance self-esteem by engaging in work or leaving the
country, it is also can lead to some disadvantages.

2. Compared to the past, more people are now studying abroad because it is more convenient and cheaper than before. Do you
think this is beneficial to the foreign student’s home country?

Currently, studying overseas has become trendy as it is handier and more inexpensive than decades ago. In my opinion, this is
fruitful to the student’s homeland, nevertheless, positive and negative impacts will be outlined in this essay.

There could be two underlying unfavourable consequences for the homeland of pursuing a degree away. The first one is related to
a high probability of the students to immigrate because of better career opportunities, such as bigger earnings and perks. This can
trigger domestic demographic and economic problems as the population is the capital which provides the growth of the economy
and brings innovative ideas wherever it is. Another adverse influence is that learners will spend their funds abroad, and this is
decreasing their state’s revenue.

There are two pros of studying away. Government-sponsored student exchange programs improve the international partnership
between states due to mutually beneficial contracts and financial obligations on both sides. For instance, these days India tends to
send more undergraduates to be taught in Ukraine than in previous years, therefore the authorities have strengthened relationships.
The further rational perspective is that professional credentials and fundamental knowledge obtained abroad help graduates to
generate imaginative ideas in native countries, which is undeniably advantageous.

To summarize, individuals are learning overseas at the present time much more frequently than in the past; however, I strongly
believe that it is precious to the foreign student’s home country as it contributes to domestic development and economic growth on
account of multinational collaboration and enhancement of citizens vocational qualifications.

3. Do you think that education and training should be completely free or it is better to require fully paid tuition? Which way do
you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
In this modern era, one of the most serious issues is improving the level of knowledge and skills among people and especially
youngsters. I firmly believe that it should be free of cost as literacy is the obvious right of everybody and also in this way, we will
witness to upgrading the level of societies and less negative behaviours.

To begin with, some parents may have not enough effort for paying tuition and if the government do not register their children
free of cost, they will lose the chance of growing up in a suitable trace. So, the financial level should be omitted as a condition of
enrolling in schools and we must have adequate seats in public schools for all students without any constraint. A good example of
this opinion is about villages and deprived regions of our country, which the government established co-educational primary and
secondary schools for them and as a result, now most of the children are living in these areas have at least the elementary literate.

On the other hand, there are several benefits for both individuals and society with regard to decreasing illiteracy as teenagers are
busy with their assignments and at the same time, their insight is going to be better. In this society, definitely, we are facing fewer
criminal events by immature young. A survey conducted by an Iranian university in 2021, showed that the rate of non-violent and
drug-related crimes among teenagers between 15 and 18 years old, fell drastically, compared to the last decade in which the
proportion of literate pupils has had significant growth.

In conclusion,I would say, in my opinion, all fields of training and the educational system should be free of charge. It absolutely
takes a chance for children who are poor, to continue their studies and have a better life. Also without any doubt, it will decrease
the possibility of committing crimes among young people.

4. Some people believe that studying at university or college is the best route to a successful career, while others believe that it is
better to get a job straight after school.

Discuss both views and give your opinion.

After graduating from high school, some individuals think that it would be beneficial for them to find a decent job immediately,
whereas others hold the opposite perspective that higher education will be an optimal option. From my perspective, the latter view
would be more suitable for one's success in their career path.

It is undeniable that starting to search for a decent job after the twelfth grade is the proper way for numerous adolescents. This can
help them earn money as soon as possible and become financially independent, which will assist them to have lucrative money to
buy a house or establish a stable family. Another benefit for those having a well-rounded job after school is that they could obtain
a range of hands-on experience and specialized knowledge related to their professions. This may result in a brighter future and a
successful career for them. For example, Bill Gates, one of the richest men in the world, dropped out of Harvard University to
pursue both his talent and desire in the computer science field.

On the other hand, I hold the belief that students will reap more benefits from pursuing higher education. It is reasonable that they
will have more opportunities to earn a handsome income and an appreciated position in society when they have in-depth
knowledge and qualifications in their fields. Also, we need to educate experts to work in specialized jobs that are at the core of
society's development, and the only way to obtain this aim is through higher education. For example, individuals wanting to
become doctors have to devote a considerable time, around 5 to 10 years, to sharpen their expertise and experience in their
professions, therefore, they will be able to receive a huge amount of money and be respected by others.

In conclusion, although working right after graduation from high school is beneficial for students in some aspects, I am of the
opinion that they are more likely to be successful in their careers if they ongoing to study at universities or colleges.

5. While many people go to university for academic study, more people should be encouraged to do vocational training because
there is a lack of qualified workers such as electricians and plumbers.

Do you agree or disagree?

Despite the popularity of universities, some argue that vocational education should be promoted to help alleviate the increasing
scarcity of competent workers across many labor sectors. I agree with this viewpoint because skills training offers greater practical
knowledge and is more likely to result in a successful job search.
Vocational education is primarily beneficial because it teaches pupils the particular tasks and procedures of a specific occupation.
Therefore, its typical training component often involves real-world and hands-on experience. By participating in these practical
experiences, students may apply their theoretical classroom knowledge in actual scenarios. For instance, training to become an
electrician or plumber must include practical application. They only become proficient when using specialized tools, interpreting
technical manuals, and identifying common problems. This practical aspect of vocational training allows learners to get a
comprehensive knowledge of the abilities required for success in their chosen sector.

Furthermore, vocational training can also be an effective way to prepare for a successful job search. The reason is that not only
does vocational training programs are more practical it also often teaches skills in high demand in the job market. For example,
programs in healthcare, information technology, and skilled trades like plumbing and electrical work are consistently in high
demand. Consequently, graduates of these programs can find work more quickly. In addition, many vocational training programs
have strong connections with local employers in their respective industries. This can give students valuable networking
opportunities and access to job leads that may not be advertised publicly. As demonstrated, graduates of vocational training
programs often have practical experience, in-demand skills, and industry connections, all of which can help them stand out in a
competitive job market.

In conclusion, personally, more individuals should be encouraged to pursue vocational training since it provides more relevant,
hands-on experience and increases the likelihood of securing employment.

6. Some people believe the aim of university education is to help graduates get better jobs. Others believe there are much wider
benefits of university education for both individuals and society. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

These days, more and more people are making the choice to go to university. While some people are of the opinion that the only
purpose of a university education is to improve job prospects, others think that society and the individual benefit in much broader
ways.

It is certainly true that one of the main aims of university is to secure a better job. The majority of people want to improve their
future career prospects and attending university is one of the best ways to do this as it increases a person's marketable skills and
attractiveness to potential employers. In addition, further education is very expensive for many people, so most would not
consider it if it would not provide them with a more secure future and a higher standard of living. Thus job prospects are very
important.

However, there are other benefits for individuals and society. Firstly, the independence of living away from home is a benefit
because it helps the students develop better social skills and improve as a person. A case in point is that many students will have
to leave their families, live in halls of residence and meet new friends. As a result, their maturity and confidence will grow
enabling them to live more fulfilling lives. Secondly, society will gain from the contribution that the graduates can make to the
economy. We are living in a very competitive world, so countries need educated people in order to compete and prosper.

Therefore, I believe that although a main aim of university education is to get the best job, there are clearly further benefits. If we
continue to promote and encourage university attendance, it will lead to a better future for individuals and society.
