And now we have just arrived on

Our first stop which is the iconic Burnham Park, the heart and soul of Baguio. Burnham Park, named
after American architect Daniel Burnham, is a 32-hectare urban park in Baguio City. It offers
recreational activities, a man-made lake for paddle boat rentals, lush gardens, walking paths, and open
spaces for picnics and relaxation. The park's main attraction is the Melvin Jones Grandstand and
Football Field, which hosts events, sports activities, cultural performances, concerts, and the annual
Panagbenga Festival, a month-long flower festival in Baguio City. The park's green and livable
environment is a testament to Burnham's vision.

Trivia: Did you know that Burnham Park, designed to resemble the city's original layout during the
American colonial period, features a central oval shape and radial roads, offering a blend of history,
urban planning, and natural beauty, making it a must-visit destination for Baguio City.

Next, we ascend to Mines View Park, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the city and its
surrounding mountains. Mines View Park in Baguio City offers stunning panoramic views of the
Amburayan Valley and nearby gold and copper mines. Established in the 1960s, it was transformed
into a public park, offering visitors a chance to immerse themselves in nature and learn about Baguio's
mining heritage. The park's main attraction is its observation deck, where visitors can witness sunrise
over the Cordillera mountain range and take memorable photos. The park also features a vibrant
souvenir market, offering locally made products like wood carvings, silver jewelry, and handwoven
textiles. Visitors can also try the famous Strawberry Taho and other delicious snacks from the food
stalls. The park is easily accessible, located 4 kilometers from downtown Baguio. Don't forget to
capture this picturesque scenery, folks! It's truly a sight to behold.

Are you guys hungry?

Now, let's talk about food. Baguio is a culinary wonderland. We'll be sampling the famous Strawberry
Taho, a twist on a Filipino snack. It's soft tofu with sweet syrup, but in Baguio, they add fresh
strawberries, giving it a unique, fruity flavor.
And let's not forget the Baguio Longganisa, a local version of the Filipino sausage. It's garlicky,
slightly sweet, and absolutely delicious. It's a breakfast staple that you must try before leaving the city.
