Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL) is looking for young and bright Diploma holders in Mechanical / Electrical /
Metallurgy / Chemical engineering to join as Junior Engineer Trainees.
3-years full time Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering from an AICTE
/ UGC recognised institute.
Minimum
Educational Candidates in final year of their academic session leading to award of Diploma by July 2024 are
Qualification also eligible to apply. The selected candidates must submit certificate of completion of Diploma by
31st August 2024. Training of those selected candidates who fail in their Diploma programme or are
unable to produce the pass certificate by 31st August 2024, will be terminated.
Domicile State of Odisha. Chemical Engineering students of other state may also apply
General Male Minimum 60% (aggregate)
Marks General Female Minimum 55% (aggregate)
ST / SC Community Minimum 50% (aggregate)
General Between January 1, 1999, and January 1, 2006 (both days inclusive)
Age
ST / SC Community Between January 1, 1996, and January 1, 2006 (both days inclusive)
Duration of
12 (Twelve) months.
Training
Minimum Height: 152 cm. (for girls 142 cm.) Eyesight 6/6 both eyes with glasses
Physical Expansion of Chest: 5 cm Power of glasses ± 6.0 D maximum
Standards Weight: 43.5 Kg. (For girls 40 Kg.) Colour vision: Normal
Stipend and The candidates undergoing training will be paid a stipend of 12,000/- per month during their training
other details period.
Employment On successful completion of training, the selected candidates if considered for employment/ placement,
and Placement the candidates may be placed at NINL (Kalinganagar, Odisha) in rotating shifts.
Selected candidates will be registered with the Board of Practical Training (Eastern Region) for one year
BOPT under the Apprentice (Amendment) Act, 1973, subject to their eligibility (optional).

On-line application will be open from 16th May 2024 to 27th May 2024.
Important dates Admit Card will be released on 3rd June 2024 over registered e-mail ids of the candidate.
Centre Based Online Written Test will be conducted on 2nd Week of June 2024.
Last Date of submission of online Application: 27th May 2024.
No hard copy document to be submitted.
If a candidate is found to be ineligible at any stage of the selection process or during the training, the
candidate will not be considered for admission to the JET programme or the training will be terminated,

All necessary documents will be verified on the day of interview for candidates shortlisted in the written
test.
Selection will be done based on Centre Based Online Written Test followed by Personal Interview and
Selection Medical Examination.
